As an every Sunday Patron to Nafi’s,I was very disappointed today. Sure Father’s Day is a busy day. The experience today left a bad taste in my mouth. The first issue was Without asking, Nafi’s wife took my 4 year old daughters chair while she was sitting on her mother’s lap due to something being in her eye. No problem, we shuffled around and made due. Then the portions were smaller than normal and my wife’s toast was buttered soggy bread. Still not a big deal, we are not ones to send food back and typically move on with our day without a second thought. The last encounter is what crossed the line and justified for me to write this review. As I was paying, my wife and daughter went to stand outside so we would not crowd the entryway. My daughter always looks forward to the lollipop she gets when we check out. While Nafi’s wife was running my card, I asked if I could have a sucker for my daughter who was waiting outside. (Mind you they know us, we are customers at least once a week and the waitresses know our order already) She scowled, hastily opened the case and actually threw the basket of suckers on the counter and told me “you do your thing” . Excuse me? I guess I will start taking my business down the street to gateway. I was very disappointed in the entire experience and will give them time to address their customer service issues before thinking...
Read moreMy husband and I stopped in for breakfast per usual. We have never had a problem with the food or service before today. The food was excellent, that was not the problem. The server on the other hand..... She seemed distracted or something. She left our food in the window while she talked to the other server, then to a customer at the counter. After she finally decided to bring our food out,she never came back to check on us. She finally came after we were finished and asked if we wanted a box. Now all of that I can look past, but I WILl NOT let slide is ,she was talking to the other server dropping the f bomb, that wasn't even the worst part. She preceded to tell the other server, she didn't care for some customers that were there and said she leaves her walker in front of the table... like how am I supposed to pour the coffee. Omg! First of all it's not that poor elderly ladies fault she has to use a walker. I'm happy she is able to get out and go places. I was disgusted by her comment and I almost said something to her,but decided not to because I didn't want to cause a scene and trust me.. it would have been a scene! I wasn't gonna tip her at all,but me being a sever I left her a dollar in change. I was truly disappointed in this lady. I will be back because we love this place. I will ask for a different server if we should happen to end...
Read moreI write this review as both a concerned customer and employee. As a customer Nafi's has a great selection of food and can be seen as a nice environment. But that quicky shifted as I became an employee. It is apparent that the owners are there for a quick cash grab don't actually hold any concern for their customers, even swearing behind the customers backs when something is requested. Their disresepct carries over to the employees as well. Unneccesary stress is forcefully pushed upon the staff creating tension between workers and customers. This creates a negative environment that the customers can not only see but feel as well. The Owner would rather be concerned for cash rather than the health of their customers. I have been forced to seat customers in uncleansily and unset table and booths. It is a shame that this is one of the only diners in Kenosha and it should be in your personal interest to steer away from Nafi's Springwood Resturant. In my experience as both an employee and customer, the diner should be put under further inspection and avoided by anyone looking to get a...
