I am unhappy with the manager, Kasie, whom I spoke with since the delivery was late, and I had to call Papa John's to ask where the pizzas were for fourth graders. She explain one person was working only and did not expect the store to be so busy. I had pre-ordered a night before so the pizza could be delivered before lunchtime. The person was so rude on the phone that Oh, pizza is being backed and if you were going to speak to me on the phone, then there would be more delay while the the dash guy was waiting in the lobby to have it delivered. The pizza, which was sumptuously scheduled to deliver at 11:25am, was delivered at 12:10 PM, RIGHT PASS THE LUNCH HOURS FOR THE ENTIRE CLASSROOM.
The person said I had scheduled a call with the manager. I did receive a call, but it seems I missed the call. I did call back the next day. The manager gave the same explanation. She was rude; she told me I was overtalking to make me lose my cool, but I kept my cool. while she said I don't mind throwing free pizza next time, I do delivery for school. That was only when I was still trying to figure out how they could take delaying kids’ meals so lightly.
She made DoorDash the scapegoat, but evidently, DoorDash was already present and waiting on Papa John's to make the pizza. I told her that I was aware from the Papa John employee that the delivery guys were there. She also told me that in the future, one should pick up one's own order around that time, as their own delivery person starts the shift at 4 p.m. Seriously!
I declined the offer of free pizza as it did not address the main issue of unprofessionalism displayed by the manager and the employee who handled the shift. It is disheartening to see that professionalism seems to be undervalued in today's service industry. I am so unhappy with Papa...
Read moreSo we gave papa johns another chance after not going here after quality we went way down. For several orders the pizza was great, well made, hot, etc.
But then recently, the last several times we've come here, the quality again has gone to the bottom. They simply just don't put enough cheese on the pizzas or "cheese" sticks.
The last two times, we've had pizzas with so little cheese, it was just baked bread. Absolutely horrible and inedible.
Went there two days ago for Another go, ordered the "EPIC" stuffed crust, with half pepperoni and half cheese. So what do they do? Skimp on the cheese. Rediculous.
2 pieces on the half that was just cheese were literally just bread. I opened them when I picked up and looked at it, asked the girl of shed eat that, and she just shrugged and walked off.
Never again. Cheese is the main ingredient on pizza. And they're skimping when their pizzas are much more than the competitors.
It doesn't matter if you have "Better ingredients, Better Pizza" if you can't make the...
Read moreThe managers at this place seem to be hit or miss. I visited once several months ago and it had a positive atmosphere, music going, and you could see efficiency taking place and all the employees were having a good time and working hard - awesome to see this and indicates good management (I think it was a female manager working). THEN, on 1/24/21, I picked up a pizza and a different manager was working (I assumed he was a manager based on the attire and him bossing everyone around) - and it was a horrible, tense atmosphere! I walked into the lobby to this "manager" yelling at someone on the phone about their website order. It was extremely awkward. Then this "manager" ended the phone conversation with a "I have people in the lobby and I don't have time for this!!" Slams phone down. - and it was clear that tone was spread across all the employees working. Disappointing to see this.
Papa John's pizza flavor is consistent and good per my family's taste. So the product is good - don't get...
