This location is certainly off to a poor start. Easily the worst Sonic location I've ever been to. We went to this location for the first time last week. We sat in line for 30 minutes and eventually we were able to get a stall. It took 12 minutes for them to take our order and another 25 minutes to receive our order, which consisted of only 5 shakes. They didn't mark any of the shakes letting us know which ones were which, so we ended up sipping each others drinks to figure out whose was whose. Lots of fun.... The shakes were very liquidy. We can tell they had been sitting awhile. We chalked it up to them being busy and we left without saying anything. Tonight, we decided to give them a second chance and made the drive over there. We sat in a line that wrapped around the block for almost 40 minutes. It's Saturday night, so we understood that it was super busy. We finally made it into the parking lot and pulled into a stall at 9:35 pm. We pressed the button to order and five minutes later a man comes on the intercom and tells us the stalls are now closed and that we will have to get back in line and go through the drive thru instead. Ummm no. We are not going to sit in that line again. Not acceptable. So we call a "manager" over named Kim and we explain the situation. Kim couldn't care less and tells us the stalls are closed and we will have to get back in line. I asked her why the stalls are closed early as they are not supposed to close until 10. She states that she chose to close them early to get everyone out of them BY 10. I'm sorry, but if the stalls are supposed to close at 10, then you close them at 10. Not at 9:30. Especially on a busy Saturday night with lines wrapped around the block. You also need an employee out there letting customers know the stalls are closed BEFORE they drive into one, not after. And perhaps a cone in front of each stall would be helpful? There were several cars that pulled into stalls at the same time as me who were also turned away after waiting 40 minutes. There is no excuse for that. When I asked the "manager" Kim why we should all have to go back in line after waiting 40 minutes, she stated "I don't know. That's not my problem". She has no business running a restaurant or dealing with the public. It's obvious by the reviews and many unhappy customers that she cannot handle the responsibility. This Grand Opening has been a train wreck and if upper management doesn't step in to do something soon, then this location will fail miserably. Read moreSo I’m starting this review with some backstory. My mom, brother and son went to this Sonic back in late March. They waited in line for an hour if not longer. Their order was messed up when it finally came so they had to wait even longer for them to fix it while everyone behind them was getting their food. They were given a coupon for two free combos for the inconvenience. She gave this to us as we live closer to this location and go there frequently. We had it for awhile and yesterday was decided to use it for dinner. We were in line for a long time then as well. We got to the window and gave them the coupon. The person at the window said that the manager that issued the coupon was no longer there and they couldn’t do anything about it. They asked us what date my mom came in. We didn’t know the exact date at the time but guessed sometime in April. They asked for her name and got this manager binder that was filled out by managers when they gave a discount or coupons like what my mom was given. They said my mom’s name wasn’t on there and that they couldn’t do anything. I even called my mom on Messenger to have her tell them what happened and they still say they couldn’t do anything. We ended up driving away because they were rude and unhelpful. I pulled up my mom’s bank statement on the way back home and found the exact date and we turned back around. Her name was still not on the binder and they referred us to the General Manager. To say we are disappointed in the way that we were treated is an understatement. It wasn’t our fault that the manager who issued the coupon is no longer there. This wasn’t a coupon that we made and brought in to try to scam them. THEY gave it to us for an inconvenience THEY caused. And they weren’t willing to honor it or give us another one to replace the one we couldn’t use because it wasn’t documented in some binder? Read moreHorrible!! We usually don't eat fast food but I had gotten off work late and picked up my 4 year old, so we stopped by Sonic to get 2 junior cheeseburgers and a medium fry. Ordered at 9:45p, food came out to the car at 10:15p..30 minutes! We received the wrong order so I pushed the red button to let them know and I was told someone would be right out. 15 MINUTES LATER I see one of the employees walking to the building from a car with a bag in his hand and a young woman came out, saw me looking her way (at this point I'm mad and wondering why I've been here for so long) and asks if I had the wrong order in which I replied "yes". The same guy who brought the bag in from another vehicle proceeded to bring me that same bag of food. Now usually I would say something but I had been there now for 45 MINUTES, with a hungry tired child, and I honestly was not going to trust anything else they brought me. I was curious to what was going to be in the bag, without eating it, and when I tell that food was so cold the cheese hadn't even melted not even a little bit and the fries! If I could upload a video I would but they were so overcooked and cold. They were rock hard and snapped in half like veggies straws!! They almost seemed hollow they were so hard.
