This could be a 3-4 star situation, depending on Who is cooking and who is at the front counter. About 30% of the time when we order carry out we don't get what we order (example: ordered chicken tacos, receive carnita tacos). Since we like what they serve and don't have any dietary meat restrictions, it's not a big deal, just somewhat annoying at times. There are bigger issues in the world to get upset over so if the worst that happens is we don't get the right tacos, then I'm good with that. There are a couple of young ladies who work there that are very kind and have exceptional customer service skills. I have absolutely no idea if the food here is "authentic" (white girl from the midwest). I have no basis to make that judgement. However, everything that we've eaten there has tasted good. Price is definitely reasonable for the portion size. They are always busy and the place is clean. I've never gotten sick from eating here, which is a major plus. Taco Tuesday is awesome and we usually pop in for...

I don't know why the people claiming to be from SoCal were on about this place. I was born and raised in San Diego and TJ. Here's my take on it: it is more flavorless than taco time (which isn't Mexican food).

The street tacos were bland and come with just unseasoned meat on tortillas, you have to get the cilantro, onions, peppers and any other stuff from the salsa bar.

Which brings us to the salsa bar which was not fresh by any stretch of the imagination.

The cane asada quesadilla was equal bland and had the bonus of having mashed avocado as a garnish as I can't call what they serve guacamole because it literally has no flavour beyond that of the avocado.

The fajitas were equally unseasoned and bland.

So all in all no, this place is not authentic by any stretch of the imagination. It is sub par even for Washington...

So i dont have pictures to attach but the experience i had was not what i expected and i agree with the last review they over hyped the videos from instagram just to get people to come eat! They dont put as much meat on the tacos or tortas as they show in the video, also the waiter that got my order lost my order so i was sitting there waiting for my order to come out for like 30 mins then they resubmitted my order and when i got my tacos de al pastor like i mentioned before they barely had any meat neither did my torta but i seen other people get alot of meat on theirs. So im not going to lie i was VERY VERY disappointed i was expecting more i was so excited to try this place but after this i dont think i will ever go their again and don’t recommend anyone to go there...

Great taco Tuesday! Try 4 flavors and love it all except chicken, a bit dry. My spouse enjoy her #6 plate but I thought the chicken could use a bit more seasoning. This meal, we actually enjoyed the beans. We typically passed on this. Note on my rating system: Sharing this as I believe many might assume a 3-star review indicates a negative experience. 5 stars: Exceptional! Outstanding food, service, and/or experience—well worth traveling for. (For example, we often drive from San Antonio to Austin just for Uchi.) 4 stars: Surpasses expectations in terms of food, service, and/or ambiance. 3 stars: Solidly good or meets expectations. I would revisit any place rated 3 stars or higher. 2 stars: Falls below acceptable standards for food or service. 1 star: Best to avoid.

El Ranchito is typical of taco shops in the Seattle area although the interior here is nicer than most. The staff are friendly. Their menu however is much more limited than most. I'm not sure they have ala carte items. My wife had 4 soft tacos and I had the 3 taquito plate. Total about $19 incl tax no drinks just water. The problem for me is the food has very little flavor. Their salsa bar very limited too and no real hot sauce just mild. Summary: somewhat flavorless food, fairly expensive compared to a regular sit down restaurant. Typical of boring mex food pretty much everywhere in Washington state.

My wife saw this place in Kent, WA from an Instagram post and had to try it. We all loved it. If you do NOT like spicy, or you are a 'medium' spicy person. Then you better tell them as you order not to make it spicy, cause Brother, they will. I had the Torta with beef tongue. (removed spicy) ... MAN DEEEEEELICIOUS. wife had big burrito, and as she cried cause of the spice... she kept eating. My friends and son had their tacos, chicken and beef. JUST AMAZING. Remember, they like it HOT. So if you don't, you better tell them.
