My LEGO shopping review & experience. Before entering this small cluttered building they call a shop, you must walk onto their porch which resembles something you'd see on the t.v. show "Hoarders". A completely unpleasant eyesore & 1st impression killer. If you can get past that your met with a somewhat friendly atmosphere, but at the same time if feels very awkward & that the friendliness is not genuine. As far a products they sell, yes they have a wider variety then that of what you'd find at say Walmart. On the other hand you'll end up paying a bit more for those same products that you'd find at Walmart. EVERYTHING is a bit pricey here, that's the one thing I can guarantee you on here. So if you like finding good discounts & saving a buck (who doesn't?!), then this isn't a place for you! I'd say this place is good for one thing really & that is if your looking for a particular piece you might need to complete a set or add to your existing inventory then this is your best bet if don't want to just order those pieces online & have to wait for them to arrive. Overall it's not somewhere I'd recommend to anyone whose looking to buy LEGO stuff, other then getting those certain pieces if they need them that day & can wait if they'd have to do if bought...
Read moreThis place is great and the owner is an amazing person. I went in to get 5 pieces for my build, which I got out of the color organized grab bag boxes. I got the 5 pieces I needed and was mentioning to my wife that I got the pieces I needed, now I'm just gonna fill the bag with random parts since I needed a full zip lock bag. After asking me if that was all I really needed, the owner gave me those pieces for free so I could finish my build. So in return I bought one of the sets of lego he had on display.
I got the Star Wars Mandalorian Beskar Forge! It was in amazing condition. Most sets are in the original boxes, but some of the older sets are in clear plastic boxes with their pieces & instructions. There were new sets on the walls, and in the shelves were some really old sets from my childhood in the 90s that I would have loved to have bought. Maybe next time.
The building could use some work, but the owner's love of lego makes...
Read moreBricks and Wheels is located in an un-assuming area, but the staff are kind and helpful. The store itself is organized very well.
This store primarily specializes in used Legos (although they also have some new stuff, too). They have a ton of inventory priced very competitively. I think they have a couple of shops in the area.
The kids love going there because of all the different options. They have an entire section devoted to Star Wars and another for Disney Princesses. Finally, they have a huge bin of parts where you pay a set rate for however many you can stuff in a sandwich, quart or gallon bag.
In addition, they also stock a bunch of new and used matchbox cars - pretty cool.
Highly recommend, and would...
