The atmosphere is cute. 1980's decor might seem outdated to some. I found it cozy. Only positive, sadly. We visited many years ago several times and loved the place. Our visit on June 7th, 2025, was not great at all. Weak coffee. VERY weak. 2 little table creamers, and it tasted 100% all creamer. If the coffee is bad, it is usually a bad sign. My husband loves biscuits and gravy but is very particular about gravy. Every breakfast restaurant, he asks for a spoon size sample. He has never been refused. Until here. Ok, not a deal breaker, really, but our waitress agreed, saying she is particular about gravy and only eats her own. Made us question our B&G choices then but was too late as we ordered. He ordered the biscuits, gravy, eggs with sauage. The gravy was on the eggs, not biscuits. Weird. Sausage was very heavy sage. If you're not a fan of sage, don't order ! I love sage sausage and found this to be overwhelming! My breakfast was country fried steak, gravy, and eggs. I wanted a biscuit instead of toast or pancakes, but it would have been upchared. So I settled for white toast. I can only assume most of the food is pre-cooked, ready to be plated as it arrived in less than 5 minutes of ordering. Country fried steak would have taken longer to fry. My fried steak was SOGGY. And greasy. Hash browns were cripsy but lacked flavor. We both agreed the eggs tasted fresh. Pretty much the only upside to our breakfast. Our waitress was bouncing around asking if we needed anything, and when we asked twice, she served other tables, wiped down tables, and did a few other things first. Why ask unless you're ready or plan to make a trip to the kitchen, drop off some creamer, and go wipe tables. Again, not a deal breaker for us, but somewhat aggravating for me. For $35 I'm not happy. Soggy food, weak coffee and a waitress that seemed frazzled. Sorry to seem rude, just calling it like I see it. Cherry on top was the toilet that didn't flush after my trip to the restroom before we left. This was definitely not the same place we enjoy several breakfasts with friends at. I'll happily go back to the kentland market, but I will find another...

I like the good table for the most part but it's a hostess it's an older lady she was there today around 2:00 or a little before 2:00 they took my order she always disrespects me she don't even know me and she be talking about me she hung up on me twice when I ordered to take another call That's very unprofessional she always talks about me for no reason I don't understand why but some reason she don't like me today when I ordered when my husband picked up the food she was talking about me how annoying I am and he wasn't saying anything to her and trying to ignore her so when he got home and told me I called there and she said she won't never talk to him again That's not the point The point is she very rude and disrespectful I never did anything to offend her but yet she always offends me I to say some out of pocket and I don't like it at all so if this is boss reading this please can you get in touch with me as I said before the food is fine it's just that one hostess our waitress or whatever she call herself because the next time I will snap on her very very...

We recently moved to the area, we decided to give this restaurant a try for the first time after moving in. We started off by ordering fried pickles, they are spears not chips. It came with ranch dipping sauce. They were delicious and hot! We also had cheese curds that came with a marinara. The cheese curds were good, but not as crispy as the pickles. My husband got the chicken bow tie soup. He enjoyed the soup. I tried the cream of mushroom and spinach soup. It was pretty good, I never would have thought about adding spinach to cream of mushroom. For the children we ordered chicken tenders. The sauce was a little too spicy for our youngest. I had ordered the turkey and bacon club. The bacon was forgotten. My husband ordered a patty melt. He enjoyed it. Overall it was a good experience. I thought the food was reasonably priced. The inside is a little old and dingy. The carpeting could definitely use an upgrade. It was very worn down. The servers that we had interacted with...

Surprisingly GREAT small town restaurant with BIG TIME service, excellent food, plenty of choices, daily specials, and most include desert with meals. Prices VERY reasonable! I ordered veal cutlet (my favorite) with mashed potatoes, and a salad requesting no croutons, dressing or cheese. Served as ordered. Companion had roast pork with fried potatoes a fully loaded salad and garlic dressing. We both enjoyed an ice cream dish (our choice of flavors) for dessert. Both of us were happy, leaving full, but taking a couple of extra slices of cherry pie to go. The staff was superb, being COURTEOUS and FRIENDLY! Felt like stepping back into a truly 'customer service' focused era. Left a generous well deserved tip. Definitely will travel this way again.

Quaint, quiet, friendly neighborhood restaurant. Stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday. Seated right away and waitress came over not too long after. She was efficient and friendly. Good food like how Mom would make it-- fluffy pancakes, loaded omelets, and salty corn beef hash 😋 Prices are very reasonable. Just be careful when you use the "facilities." All their latches are broken. The whole time I was psychologically freaking out thinking some stranger is going to walk in and see me in my throne; and it hasn't been cleaned for a while. Definitely go and have some breakfast. It's a nice place.
