Visited this McDonald's whilst staying at a nearby hotel at approximately 8PM on 9/15 and ordered almost 20 dollars worth of food in the drive-thru. We get to our room, open the bags and there's not a single napkin. We had sandwiches that were messy and napkins were necessary and since we were on the road/in a motel room we didn't have other options. The food was good, but I don't understand why the staff felt that napkins weren't necessary for an order with 2 large sandwiches. Seeing as how McDonald's is the quickest place to grab a bite to eat on the go we tried this same location again in the morning on the way out of town at 5am and this time, while the food was good again, the lady that cashed us out in the drive-thru was rather rude and acted like our request jelly was a major inconvenience. These things may seem minor, but with so many fast food options these days, it's things like this that will cause me to seek out alternative meals even in a small town like Kentland where dining options...
Read moreI used to love going to get breakfast daily and hands down would have given them 10 stars if that was possible. But as time passed they started cutting their menus scheduled times. Instead of a few minutes before they change to lunch they made it 10 minutes. I’ve watched multiple people order their breakfast in front of me and then get to the windows and have to be refunded. All because the workers are being lazy and don’t wanna finish out the scheduled breakfast time. If they do not have the product to produce the asked meal then do not allow the order to be made. It’s simple really. But if the workers just change their mind on wanting to make it as is their job then that’s unacceptable. I would give zero stars at this time but I am unable to review them unless I give at least one. Truly hope this can be fixed as there are multiple people talking about this exact issue with this...

But he was raised in illinois 🙄 He has grown up hearing me complain about the food and service in illinois as compared to Indiana. He got a taste of it on this trip. Stopped off at McDonald's and the young lady who took our order was cheerful, polite . My Son looked at his food and said "This actually looks like the photo on the menu!" Before I know it he was done eating two sandwiches 🥪 before I finished one. He looked at me and said "That was the best McDonald's food I have ever had!" I said "Welcome to Indiana". This McDonald's accomplished to actually impress my teenage son. So thumps up guys, not only did you make yourselves look good but I got to ride on your coat tails and got some State creid right along with you. ...
