Very disappointed. The flight had been diverted to Erlanger Airport and most of us were hungry and tired. This taproom was near the gate where we landed and convenient, since we had been told to stay near the gate for departure. The line was 6 deep. The couple first in line got impatient so they went inside and took counter seats. They were advised that the food service was overwhelmed so it was slow. They left, and so did the people next in line. That left me. I went to the vacant counter seats and when the waitress stopped by, I ordered. She said: "Oh no. We are not taking food orders now or anytime soon. The kitchen is too far behind. We are only serving drinks". So I too left and informed those behind me in line which was now longer. This cleared the line. I thought it was not very smart to serve only drinks to a planeload of tired irate passengers without also serving food. I reported this to the incoming crew. When we walked up there was no one there, we saw the sign on the table so I figured that’s how we had to order so I did that. 15 minutes later someone approached the table and I informed them that I had already ordered, they didn’t seem to like that but went to go find our order in the system… 10 minutes later they came back and informed me that they drink I had ordered wasn’t available (no big deal, I got something else) the drink came out and was dropped off at the table, I thanked the server and was met with crickets(silence). Then when our food came out it was the same thing. The food was meh (bland and the place seemed a little dirty) but what really got me was how visibally petty your staff was to each other. The gal running food simply asked the bartender which part of the bar was section 5 when delivering food, and the bar tender responded in a very condescending and sassy manner. The food runner was visibly upset by this and for the remainder of my visit, there was petty gossip going around about it. I get it, there's workplace drama anywhere you go. It's just unfortunate that as a customer i was able to pick up on all of it and frankly found it hard to ignore. Please do better and at a minimum treat each other with a mutual respect, if...
