Wow! It's difficult to impress me 100%, but this place did it! It was an unplanned, last-minute decision to grab a bite to eat while the hubby and I were out site seeing. My husband said he was hungry for Mexican food. So I googled top Mexican restaurant near me. The reviews of this restaurant caught my husband's attention, so we used GPS for directions. Upon arrival, there is plenty of parking. We walked in and were immediately seated. Within a minute, we had chips and salsa on the table. The waiter came right after, introduced himself, and took our drink order. The drinks were promptly brought back to the table, and our order was placed. Now, if you have followed my reviews, you know I'm usually dissatisfied with service or quality of food. BUT THIS PLACE is exceptional. Our food was exquisitely delicious; authentic, quality tasting, seasoned to perfection! Needless to say, both of our plates were devoured clean! My husband had the steak fajita burrito, and I had a chicken burrito with specific add-ons. Mmmmhmmm, Yum! If you happen to be in the area, do yourself a favor and add this to your next dinner venue! I'm sorry but there are no pictures of the food for this dinner. I honestly thought it was just going to be a quick stop for mediocre food, and we'd be on our way. But wow! It caught me by surprise, and I am thankful for the chef that still entices people's pallette with...
Read moreThis is my experience, but I am willing to give it a second chance based on what other people at my table ordered. Ordered the special dinner...do not recommend. It came with a tamale, a crunchy taco, a Chile relleno, an enchilada, and a tostada with stuff on top. My biggest issue is that EVERYTHING on my plate had ground beef with some red sauce...it was bland and boring. The most exciting thing was the tamale it had chicken or pork...can't remember, but it was good, however it also had ground beef and red sauce on top...don't know why...I scooped this off. The chilled relleno didn't even have real cheese... This made me sad, the cheese inside was like cheese dip like the cheep kind and the egg wrap around it was doughie and cold. Rice and beans were yummy, my michelada was properly made was very impressed, the chips and salsa were fresh, if you can handle spice I would recommend their habanero sauce. The service was top notch, and the place is clean. Everyone at my table got something yummy so I think it was just my dish. I would try it again but definitely order...
Read moreIt is a very good Mexican Restaurant. It is the second best Mexican Restaurant around. It still isn't as good as Casa Fiesta in Frankfort, especially with their Salsa, Guacamole, Fried Rice, Chicken 🐔 Casa. But they have very good combo dishes which are a wonderful mix together and a great bargain! 💰 When I am passing through Lawrenceburg, I love stopping here. They have very nice servers. They checked on our drinks, and refilled my unsweetened iced tea a 1/2 dozen times, always with a smile! I am a real tea drinker when it's fresh and good, with fresh lemon 🍋!!! 🍹They do have a bar and one of the people at my table ordered a Margarita. She said it was a bit strong though, so if you like them that way... you may like it! 🍧Never tried their desserts, so I can't tell you if they are good. I was too full from my Beef Burrito, 🍚rice, chips & Queso Cheese, Salsa! 💸Good service rates good tips, and my server always...
