Best McDonald's I have EVER been to. I used to Manage at this Mcdonald's, so you may say my opinion is bias haha. But every time I come, the staff is always so friendly, and even the new people I never even worked with treat me great!! Cleanest McDonald's I've experienced, even the health department told me it was "the cleanest McDonald's they had ever seen". I understand a lot of you all who have left reviews are mostly concerned with the wait time, the accuracy, and the service (especially at night) and I just wanted to let you all know that it's not a matter of the employees just "suck" or don't care. You have to realize that the managers on nights are always YOUNG and NEW to management and are only a couple of years out of high school. and the people working for them on nights are HIGHSCHOOLERS and this is probably their FIRST JOB! THEY ARE STILL LEARNING HOW TO BE FUNCTIONING WORKING ADULTS! and there is usually very limited staff at night. I always had to work nights with the highschoolers and trust me it's not easy. I do think more adults should have to work night shift, but ya know, no one wants to do that haha. Give these kids a break. They are trying their best and you yelling at them and calling them every name in the book because your mcchicken was cold is making yourself look stupid.    Read moreSeveral instances of poor service. About a month ago we were given the wrong items in the order (which happens often so we checked the bag while at the pick up window). The young man at the window said ok Iâll have the correct items out to you. I pulled up and waited about 10 minutes with about 4 cars getting their food. So I go in and the young man points at the cooks and says, yeah I told them but people are petty and donât listen. Employees actively arguing in front of me. I ask for the manager, and a young woman sitting in a chair in the back rolls her eyes and sends out the other manager. He apologizes and puts in an order for my food and basically says they have to hire a bunch of kids who donât know how to work.
Last night, there was no shake mix and no ice cream (which has been the case every night Iâve ever been there after 7:00). Always an excuse when the truth is they likely cleaned the machines at 5 so they donât have to make any. So they told me they canceled my order. Ok, I wasted my time going there yet again but Iâm used to it from this location. BUT, then I get an email with a receipt for $.027. They charged me for âextra sauce.â đ I guess they couldnât figure out how to cancel my online order so they charged me for the cheapest thing they could, but I didnât authorize that sale! Let me be crystal clear: I donât expect fine dining at McDonaldâs â but I do expect basic competence, accountability, and a shred of customer respect. Unfortunately, the Commerce Crossings location in Lawrenceburg canât even manage that.
My recent visit was a masterclass in mediocrity: ⢠Staff barely acknowledged customers. ⢠Orders were wrong â not once, but repeatedly. ⢠The inside? Filthy. ⢠And the wait time? Iâve had faster service at the DMV.
But hereâs the real issue: this isnât a one-time slip-up. Itâs a pattern. And the reason is obvious â the franchisee doesnât care. Not about quality. Not about training. And definitely not about the opinions of the people keeping their doors open.
You can smell the apathy in every cold fry and half-wrapped burger. Itâs in the eye rolls when you ask for a correction. Itâs in the zero effort to address feedback â because they know youâll either give up⌠or never come back.
Well, guess what?
Iâm not coming back. And Iâm not staying quiet, either.
McDonaldâs corporate, are you even paying attention to the standards being ignored here? Or has this location simply fallen off your radar like so many others that gave up trying?
