The Steak House — Restaurant in Kentucky

Usually a really good spot to eat in the Belfry area, but they have really gone downhill from my last review. I've been 3 different times with my wife since my kast 5 star review. One of the occasions was with a large group. Our food progressively got worse with each time that passed. The last time we went, people who ordered well after we did were getting their food first, and waitresses were openly complaining loud enough for my wife and I and others around to hear, about the tables that were leaving small tips or no tips at all. One girl complained about only receiving a $10 tip for a table of 4. Our order was wrong then when it came back, the meat was disgusting and mainly just fat, so we sent it back again and waited around 2-25 more minutes for out food to still not show so we just left. I used to love this place, but it's going to be a very long time before I go back, if I do ever go back. If I could rate NO STARS I would. I was treated very rudely. Nearly accused of just trying to get free food until I presented my order receipt and proved that me and my husband had 2 orders of an item, not just 1 order. The food was not worth the prices they charge. Matter of fact, there was more food left on our plates, wasted, than we actually ate. When I asked for salt, because our table had none, I was looked at by these workers who were just sitting at a table, doing absolutely nothing, like they wasn’t understanding the words I was saying. You know, English. What are they being paid for again?! I was not asked the first time if I needed a refill. When clearly, I did need a refill. There was one, ONE, waitress who brought us our salt, finally, who apologized for any inconvenience and we were informed that she was under the impression that the other waitress had brought us the salt and pepper. I liked her. They should hire more like her. I’ll never eat there...

Decided to go here for our anniversary dinner. We had not ate there in a long time and I think it will be a while if I try it again. The nice desert section has been removed from the checkout/order area and replaced with a cart of melted ice that had a couple of pies in plastic containers floating on top. We all got steak tips and salad bar. The salad bar was good and the best thing I ate. The waitress came to our table and said they had no baked potatoes and it would be 30 minutes. What steak house runs out of potatoes during dinner time? My husband and I chose mashed potatoes and they found a potato for our daughter which had cheese and sour cream on it. Our steak tips were very salty and the mashed potatoes were cold and no flavor.
