I think this place is a classic example of the phrase "jack of all trades, master of none." The menu greets you with food from a variety of cultures, including Japanese, Mexican, and Korean. Never before have I been to a restaurant where I could order both a chimichanga and some sushi, and that's not necessarily a good thing. My girlfriend and I both got an entree and a sushi roll - I got the chimichanga and a dragon roll, she got the yaki udon and a spicy crab roll. She also got an order of crab rangoon mozzarella sticks. The restaurant was not busy at all, and although the only customers ahead of us ordered just drinks, we had about a 30-40 minute wait to get our entrees, then another 10-15 minutes for the sushi. My chimichanga was one of the most bland things I've ever eaten. It was just plain, unseasoned chicken in a fried tortilla with some cheese sauce on top. Not a single vegetable in sight, and none of the seasonings you'd expect for a chimichanga. Her crab rangoon mozzarella sticks smelled terrible (that's not something I would've ordered anyway) and she ate one before throwing the rest away. Her yaki udon looked better than my chimichanga, but she took a few bites and decided to scrap it as well. The extra wait for the sushi was somewhat worth it because it was the best thing we got. My dragon roll wasn't half bad, and my only complaint is I would've liked more eel sauce. She wasn't really into the spicy crab roll and ate about half of it before throwing the rest away. The worst part about this dining experience is it cost us $54 for everything. For the price and wait time, I expected much better than what we got. This restaurant has the potential to be great, but I think they should start with cutting down their menu and picking a specialty to focus on rather than serving a little bit...
Read moreI was so excited to visit this place while visiting with my aunt. I went up the counter and it was cute and I was excited at first. I told them I wanted no veggies two times before making my food. I got my food in a bag tied up and I went down tyne road to my house. I open it and it was full of veggies. I was so disappointed and just ate something at the house. I don’t think I will be going back unless they make...
