Waffle House — Restaurant in Kentucky

If I could give no stars, I would. This place used to be nice. Especially at night. 2am, was the best time to be at the ole Waffle. But now, the service sucks. The place is nasty. The staff are rude. Do not go in there in the middle of the day, you'll get the worst food and the most cranky old server who likes to complain about everything!!!

We are customers, not your boss. I mean, if the workers hate their job that much, do you really think you're getting that great of service?

I've resorted to every other food joint, besides the two Waffle Houses in KY. It's just like the management doesn't care that all their employees are on dope. Or give horrible service.

We arrived late as we were traveling and got a room At the Ramada next door. By the way, because I am unable to post strictly to their website I'm going to throw a shot in here for them as well! They were the first place I called that went straight to the front desk. The lady working was a real sweetie. She saved the rooms for us without a credit card. She was very nice and helped us out tremendously. Back to the Waffle house, the hotel receptionist suggested an Italian place that would deliver for $2. My son was on the phone with them for at least 15 mins and the worker told him it would be at least 45 mins before we got our food. So we walked to the Waffle House. I just wanna say I’ve always loved Waffle House. We ordered 2 all star specials and my husband didn’t get the mushrooms that he ordered and paid for and his over easy eggs were very overcooked. Other than that the food was good but… they charged an extra $4 for each all star just for ordering to go, PLUS a 20% fee for ordering to go. We paid almost $40 for 2 all star specials before the tip! I get paying a little extra when ordering to go to make sure the server gets the tip but the server only got half of the extra 20% we paid. There is something seriously wrong with this. People are already struggling more than in the past and waffle houses answer is to charge double extra?? Next time I want to bring a warm breakfast home to make my morning with my 1 year quicker I’ll just go to McDonald’s. The food really isn’t...
