Chatters Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Kewaskum

TL;DR - Burgers were great! Service was not and there were extra charges on our bill.

We went and it did seem to be the waitress's first night (first night waitressing - not first night at this restaurant). I ordered a beer on tap. They were out of the beer, so I got a soda instead. I was charged for the beer and was never offered a refill on the soda. All (4) of us ordered burgers, at medium or medium rare temps. They all came out as medium well. No pink at all, but not charred or dry. They were still very tasty, just not what we ordered. We also upgraded 2 of the sides to sweet potato fries, but 3 orders came out with sweet potato fries. We didn't mind as we like sweet potato fries and we thought it was an honest mistake. When the bill came, we got charged for the fry upgrade as well, which we had not ordered. We were going to let the waitress know that if she corrected the bill, her cash tip would end up being higher as she could keep the difference, but by the time we left, the place had gotten busier and we just didn't want to wait around and deal with it. I see other people also reporting incorrect charges, so be sure to double check you bill before you pay.

Also, half of the parking lot is unavailable due to the construction on Main Street. It's tenant parking only all along...

The hostess and waitress were awesome and friendly. We went when it wasn't overly busy. The menu is a bit basic. My burger was pretty good but my friends chicken sandwich was rare inside. We said something to the waitress and she said she told staff. She apologized, although this was not her fault. Nothing else. Was still charged for a meal that could not be eaten. Cooks did not even say anything. Was pretty disgusting. See my picture. Plenty of parking. Not sure I'd go back.

Edit ~ went here again recently. Construction in town is awful. This time the food was better. Got chicken wings and a kids meal. Johanna is a wonderful waitress. Would go back again...

We came here for the first time on a Friday night and got sat right away. It was kinda busy and unfortunately I think only one waitress so the service was slow but she was nice. We got the buffalo chicken dip, fish sandwich, cod fish fry, and potato pancakes and all the food was good. They were out of syrup which sucked because we wouldn’t have ordered the pancakes. The fish fry was missing the sides, butter, and missing sauce we order so it was a lot of asking we felt bad it can get annoying but we got everything eventually. The prices were comparable to most restaurants. We will go back again to try some of...
