Local Press Burger Bar — Restaurant in Kewaskum

Been to this restaurant numerous times and always left happy and very satisfied. Very saddened that tonight was not the same.

The service was outstanding but atmosphere wasn’t. We walked in to an empty restaurant that smelled foul. We got our food to go. The “frachos” were nothing like the description. Instead of cheese sauce there were soggy fries with partially melted shredded cheese, a couple squirts of sour cream and overloaded jalapeños that seemed like they were from a can. No green onions either.

The juicy brucie which we have had countless times was somehow dry and very hard despite appearing to be cooked medium. The cheese that is supposed to be inside the burger was gone (either it escaped while it cooked or was never put inside. The burger was soggy and the bun disintegrated immediately upon taking the first bite. We used to love their pickles, they tasted homemade but tonight they must have had ones from a jar and weren’t as good.

The Mac and cheese was very good and children loved it.

Very disappointing to spend almost $70 and be left with this impression.

Hopefully this was just an off night because we’ve been here countless times in the past and...
