Shenanigans — Restaurant in Kidder Township

Hello Lake Harmony people! I am going be to honest here.. this is my first review !!! I am a regular customer at shenanigans . I have been in and out of there for 30 plus years . I know the owners the staff and the customers I want to comment on a review from a young women .. the name of Kristen Kelly … I was a customer In shenanigans the night this incident occurred !! She and her 3 friends had got into an altercation with the older man who was karaoke MC… 1 gentleman with the group and rob, the karaoke man had a physical scuffle…. Which was in reality a minor incident.. after that was resolved… the 3 women who was with miss Kelly tried to attack the female that was with Rob as per miss Kelly the girl with daddy issues???? A female bartender told them they all had to leave which was a little too late…. The group was there for a least three hours , visibly intoxicated!!! Singing dancing carrying on just having a great time…the group had made there way to the parking lot!! Where they continued to scream profanities through the windows of the building acting like a bunch of 6 year olds…well apparently they could not get an Uber… and were offered a ride from the male bartender who drove them home … such a bad place? Blah blah blah they made sure you were all safe after all the drama that you all caused…. I read the other reviews miss Kelly posted it seems you have a pattern of getting in bar fights and your friend’s getting tossed out. Maybe you should realize the common denominator!! You and your friends.. if it. Was such a horrible place ….. why were you all there so long singing dancing having a blast till you all couldn’t handle there liquor anymore… some people just do not have social skills look inwards before you attack others for your own short comings and tell the whole story not the story that best suits you narcissist self… act like young ladies not entitled out of towers who think they can physically attack people!! Then wright a review to bash a place that you all disrespected!!...

We have been coming here for the past 9-10 years or so and used to really like this place. It has gotten worse in recent years but tonight was the limit.

My wife and I went in and we each ordered steaks, hers a prime rib medium rare and myself a T-Bone Pittsburgh Rare. They both came out Medium Well. I have not sent a steak back in probably 20 years. These were not worth eating. We sent them back. Our waitress was very nice but the manager came out and basically put the old, overcooked steaks on the table and told my wife she could have a couple of dollars off, and me nothing. We were told that the kitchen is not allowed to serve steaks that rare. Ok, that is fine, but that should have been disclosed shortly after ordering.

There was no apology. No offer to order something different since they could not accommodate the requested temperature, just a very rude manager. She brought the chef out who insisted he had been there for 6 years. We were told if we ever ate there, he made it. Well then, we have had their steaks many times before and apparently during his stint, they were never this bad.

We asked for the check. No discounts. We paid for our drinks and the appetizer. No apologies from anyone else, except the server.

We also asked for the manager's name to include here. She refused. Mainly the reason I am writing this review. Decent customer service can go a long way.

Sad as this was once our go to place in Lake Harmony. We hope the owners will read this and consider how they train and hire...

I can't even give this place a STAR. A few of us went last night July 17,21. The place was packed and could hardly sit at our table. The music and karaoke was so loud that i couldn't even hear what my friends we're trying to say to me from across the table. We had to use texting to communicate. It took the Waitress over 30 min to bring our first drink, then when she finally came around again we had to grab her to place an order. We ordered a cheesesteak and mozzarella sticks. The cheese steak took over an hr to come out. It was cold,, and the mozzarella sticks didn't come out.. We had to ask 3 different waitresses to find out where our mozzarella sticks are.. Meanwhile ppl behind us who came in 45 min after us are eating Their food including mazzarella sticks that I have been waiting over an hr ans ½ for. A young women came out from the back claiming to be the manager. Was not very professional, didn't bring out a new cheesesteak when she went to get the mozzarella sticks. Or offer a discount. When the mozzarella sticks did come out they were cold.

Now the ppl running the karaoke,,, what a joke that was. I never in my life seen people get worked up over customers touching a microphone.... and they have a sign stating NOT TO TOUCH THE MIC. Ridiculous... when do you do karaoke and not hold the microphone or even keep from touching it. Your out to have fun and a good time. They need to do a live band on Saturday nights to bring more people out. Karaoke every weekend...
