Edgewater Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Kiel

We had been wanting to try this place for awhile now, so we figured we would grab some takeout for the packer game. The wait time to pick up was a little long, but we figured hey it's a game day. When we picked up the food we were surprised that there was almost no one there, which begged the question why the long pick up time? The food was actually pretty good! I ordered the Guinness burger and fries, my wife ordered the classic chicken sandwich with an added piece of cheese and fries. I thought my burger was really good and I liked the fries so much I didn't even use ketchup. The take out boxes were really nice (an odd thing to stand out to me but I can appreciate something more than just Styrofoam). The downside was my wife's chicken sandwich only had the chicken and cheese on it. Not a huge deal but it did kind of rub us the wrong way. We have no problem paying the extra money for an added topping, but if we are then missing all the other toppings... idk. We did call and and confirm that the online menue was right and explained what we ordered and what we got, and they did apologize but no offer to make it right. Over all the food was pretty good, but it wasn't the best...

First time here , I go thru kiel regularly and It has caught my eye , I finally had a chance to stop in with a friend. The atmosphere is great , seems fun , open, clean and inviting! The restroom is immaculate and cute style also smells good. The waitress and bartender are very nice and checkin regularly. The food, omg!! don't get me started soooo good! the cheese curds are amazing we had as appetizer, half batch was perfect for two. we both got wings I had 10Thai chili my friend had5 bbq and 5 parmesan . both of our wings were served with carrots and celery . All was sooo good and perfect amount. we got drinks aswell and the bartender was definitely on top of it! Thanks ladies that...

Was at this place on Nov 13, 2024 with a friend for the burger day. Our burgers were on the smelly side. Like the meat was bad. My friend got sick from the burger. A few days later in that same week on Saturday I had a few other friends go there and they ordered the burgers and there burgers were even worse than ours were on Wednesday. My friends had said there burgers were rancid. They complained about there burgers to the one of bartender and he went back to talk to the cook and came back out and told my friends that the meat is fine. They could not eat there burgers and they didn’t get e refund either. We all will never go back there again!...
