Firehouse Boil Delivery — Restaurant in Kill Devil Hills

Firehouse Boil catered a family member's funeral reception (~75 people) and did a phenomenal job. Dave responded almost immediately to my catering request and customized the menu for our group. He was great to work with, had the best prices, and was quick to answer to any questions I had. John and Linda were our 'private chefs' for the afternoon - they make an amazing team. They were friendly, attentive, and consistently made sure everyone was happy. We were so appreciative of the extra things they did for us like covering the tables ahead of time and helping portion the leftover boil in containers for people to take home. Big thanks to Jeff, who came by at the very beginning (on his day off) to lend an extra hand setting up. The whole experience was so easy from start to finish and the food was amazing. We were staying in Rodanthe for the weekend. Ordered the Cottage Pot for 3 families, 11 people plus we added on some additional clams, scallops and mussels. It all came packaged well in a cooler with very clear directions. they provided a huge pot that we were able to fit on the stove, bowls, paper and tablecloth, really everything you need! It took us about 45 minutes to cook, would if been less if we would of gotten the propane and stand they offered. The food was delicious! even the corn which was out of season ( feb). shrimp were very large and we probably had a good pound left after 11 adults eat. They didn't deliver to Rodanthe so we met them at Oregon Inlet. great communication and we dropped off the pot at station at 5am the next morning on the way back home. Honestly the only thing Id reccomend would be more seasoning. Maybe because we are from MD but we could of used alot more old bay seasoning. Highly...

What a great service! We were visiting the OuterBanks for a family vacation and saw the Firehouse Boil ad in a tourist magazine. My sister-in-law and I thought it’d be fun to give it a try on our last night here. We ordered the Ice Box with a couple add-ons: crab legs and mussels. It was delivered to our house right on time with a large pot, a ladle, potato’s, onions, lemons, ears of corn, sausage, the seafood and pre-measured ingredients, and a sheet of step-by-step directions. There was also a disposable table cloth, a roll of paper to put on the table, paper bowls, napkins and plastic forks. It was super easy to cook and the food came out amazing!! On the directions, there’s a QR code which gives you directions on how to return the pot, ladle and bags to a number of convenient drop-off locations all over the Outerbanks. I highly recommend...
