My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Bell Tokyo Ramen on Elms Rd., and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and beautifully decorated, creating a cozy setting that reflects the charm of Japanese culture right in the heart of Killeen.

The owners are incredibly welcoming, and the chef’s passion is evident in every dish, showcasing years of dedication and hard work from studying under her master.

We started with boba teas – strawberry for him and matcha for me – which were refreshing and perfectly made. Our appetizer of takoyaki (octopus balls) was melt-in-your-mouth good, with a crispy exterior and tender center. The katsu curry was another standout, with the katsu being both crisp and tender, pairing beautifully with the fluffy rice and rich, flavorful curry. Served with miso soup and pickled daikon and ginger, the dish offered a perfect balance of textures and spices.

The highlight, though, was the house special ramen. With its rich, flavorful broth, tender noodles, and a beautiful topping of a soft-boiled egg, corn, shredded green onions, mushrooms, and chili threads, each bite was a comforting, soul-warming experience. You can truly taste the chef's love and dedication to her craft.

Bell Tokyo Ramen is a true embodiment of Washoku, bringing joy to our hearts with every bite. Oishii! ...

The ramen here is absolutely amazing—rich broth and perfectly cooked noodles. Unfortunately, everything else falls short. The portion sizes for meat in the entrees are disappointing, especially given the high prices. It just doesn’t feel like a good value for anything outside of the ramen menu. The biggest letdown was the spam musubi. As someone who lived in Hawaii for four years and has had (and made) countless musubi, this version missed the mark entirely. It had like an inch and a half of soggy rice and a centimeter of spam. Just a sliver of spam. Compared to what’s shown in the menu vs what you get in reality…. I was about to make a TikTok with the sound …”this is the pastels I wanted… AND THIS IS WHAT I GOT!” (See pix attached)

If you want spam musubi. Go anywhere else in killeen that sales it. Never had an issue anywhere else in killeen.

Even when there’s barely anyone sitting… the wait does take LONGER than expectations. The complimentary miso soup for the entrees…. Taste sour and expired.

Come for the ramen, but manage your expectations for...

This place was absolutely phenomenal! If I could give more than five stars, I would. It was our first visit today, and everything exceeded expectations. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with a vibe that instantly reminded me of Japan. The customer service was outstanding—attentive and thoughtful in every way. The lady chef even gave my daughter a small gift, which meant a lot to her and made the experience even more special. Both chefs went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. The food was bursting with flavor, and I couldn’t have asked for more. We tried almost everything on the menu just to experience it all, and let me tell you—we weren’t disappointed. If you’re looking for amazing food and a memorable dining experience, this is definitely a place worth trying. I promise you won’t be disappointed, and we’ll certainly be coming back for more!...

I was driving down Elms road and saw this place. I went to where I was going and swung back by to give it a try. It had been a long time since I had ramen. I lived in Tokyo for 3.5 years and had lots of good ramen over the years, particularly in Sapporo. The ramen here was very good. The broth was great. The chicken egg roll was amazing. The gyoza were also very good. When the urge hits for ramen, I’ll go back. Thank you guys.
