The Roll Up — Restaurant in Killeen

I was ecstatic to find this hidden gem. The Roll Up is sinful, comforting goodness, and one of my favorite eateries in Killeen that offers the ultimate comfort food. We tried a variety of items on the menu, and we loved every scrumptious bite. The egg rolls, yum-yum sauce, and fried rice are simply amazing, and the original menu is such a welcoming change in the sea of restaurants that offer so much the same. It’s a wonderful, unique eatery that offers unsurpassed customer service and a fun place to dine.

The Roll Up offers exceptional customer service from the moment you enter the establishment. The staff is delightful, friendly, and very accommodating. And the upbeat décor makes it for a fun and cool place to dine. Everything on the menu was exceptional. If you are looking for something different and tired of the same old, same old, stop by and enjoy the offerings of The Roll Up. It will not disappoint!

Entrees: Pizza Roll Up: Packed with juicy Pepperoni, mozzarella, and Italian seasoning. Absolutely delicious! Crab Rangoon Roll Up: A delicious cream cheese mixture packed with imitation crab meat and just phenomenal. Buffalo Chicken Roll Up: Mildly spicy, mozzarella and cream cheese blend with shredded chicken. I loved this one as well. The pizza roll up and the crab Rangoon were my absolute favorites. Shrimp Fried Rice Plate with spicy yum-yum sauce: fried rice, shrimp and yum-yum sauce. To die for! Loaded French fries with shrimp and yum-yum sauce. Pure heavenly comfort!

Dessert Egg Rolls: Banana Pudding: a roll filled and bursting with warm ooey-gooey banana pudding. This one I couldn’t stop eating and was my absolute favorite dessert roll. Although completely stuffed after our meal, I ordered two to take home. It’s that good! Cheesecake: Just divine and my second favorite. A must try! S’mores: It was good, but I preferred the Banana Pudding and the Cheesecake dessert rolls. If you are a S’more lover, definitely order one!

Last night was my husband and I's first time trying this place. I love eggrolls and we decided to run and grab dinner before heading home.

The front cashier was adorable, kind, and so patient with my questions regarding my rare allergies- and helped with recommendations.

We did wait a while for our food but it was quickly shadowed by how delicious the food was.

My only few pieces of advice which do not affect the rating- is to definitely be mindful of food allergies. I did inform the cashier I had a serious allergy and unfortunately one of my eggrolls I ordered were placed in the same container as one that contained an allergen. Although I do not get a reaction from contact like that- I do recommend ensuring there is no cross contamination to protect everyone in the future in case another patron were to have something more severe.

I also would love to see them in a bigger space as it was quite small and we didn't want to take up space eating there so instead we went home. Which is still fine due to the fact we are introverts and do prefer to stay home.

10/10 would recommend and am already planning our next visit.

Food: I almost died of diarrhea! I think it was food poisoning or spicy yum yum sauce. I the spicy yum yum sauce was not yum. IT WAS OVERRATED AND OVERLY SPICY HOT. Won’t be returning here. Had diarrhea for like 5days. Not even diarrhea meds could help me. Like it was bad y’all. Be careful when thinking about eating here. I know some people may say “I’m ok when I eat here” but eat at your own risk. I’ve never experienced food poisoning like this before. The fried rice honestly tastes like you made this at home. Doesn’t taste like “Chinese rice “. No egg in the rice which would have given it that flavor of Chinese restaurant style fried rice. Meats are chewy like left over meat from a few days. Not a lot of moisture in the meats. Shrimp was honestly good and not over cooked actually but. It the chicken and beef pieces. The Philly cheesesteak rolls are over rated. If you say it’s good here you must be spending time with MaryJane. Service is good fr. Atmosphere is hot in here. It’s pretty warm. Not too comfortable...
