absolutely love this starbucks location, I come out of my way to come to this location instead of going to the one closest to my house on Trimmier. With that said I have a particular issue with one of the employees, Jay Jay. I don’t know what the deal is but every time I come through he takes my order, I get up to the window and he says nothing to me and just hands me the card reader and doesn’t even look in my direction as he does it. Doesn’t tell me my total, nothing. Today I even asked my total and as I asked him he turned and walked away and completely ignored me. Then when my order comes he simply hands it to me and says nothing else. I’ve said thank you have a nice day and I never get a response. It just puts off the vibe he doesn’t care about the customer and he’s only there to do a job, which is fine I guess. We’re all at work to do a job, but when you’re serving people the least you can do is give them their total before they put their card in the reader and offer a receipt, which he has never done. There was one other time I ordered my latte and it didn’t have any flavor in it, like they forgot to put it in or something and since I come out of my way to get here I didn’t feel like going back to have it fixed so I just dealt with it. Other than that I’ve had a perfect experience at...
Read moreLike it here, the only problem I have is that it seems to small. For individuals who hate crowded places or are somewhat claustrophobic this store could be an issue.
Other than that is your typical Starbucks with really good coffee. Just wish the tables weren't so closed together and that the place had more room. Which in a way it has, it is just that is in a form of a terrace. Which in Texas, well, let's just say is not ideal, unless is winter months, maybe late fall, or early spring. The rest of the year, with temperatures of 100+, you are probably not going to sit outside. I guess they're more of a drive thru facility than one who wants you to come inside and spend some relaxing quality moments with your book, or work, or just a simple casual call/meeting with friends or family.
If you need your caffeine hook-up then yes, it is the place for you. If you don't mind a tiny place, then also the place for you. Me on the other hand just go grab my coffee and go, perhaps that's the reason don't buy there as much, and rather go to the one on Trimmier Rd. or just visit a Coffee Beanery by my house which is huuuugee! Too bad, because I...
Read moreI don't know what it is but for some reason this Starbucks seems to be very unorganized. I came in this morning around 8:40am, I ordered a Granda no whip white mocha and an old fashion donut. It took 20 minutes to get the drink and another 10 minutes to get the donut after I said that I'm still waiting on the donut. So it took a total of 30 minutes to complete my order. There was 6 six people working but only one person was making all of the drinks, one person working the drive thru, person workin on the inside cash register, and one person taken care of the food items. The other two people were doing a lot of standing around and not helping. There were several other people who were waiting just as long or longer than I was. The service was so bad that one lady left without her order being completed because it was taking too long. And for some reason it seemed like online orders were more important than the orders that were placed in this Starbucks. I wish that I could give zero stars to this Starbucks. VERY...
