Pizza Hut provides very good pizza and gives you great choices, as well as their wings are also good. Some of their policies do, however, tend to make me question the thinking behind them.
The most recent one is doing away with the complimentary parmesan cheese packs making the customer pay for a small parmesan cheese shaker for a dollar if they want the parmesan cheese to go on top of their Pizza.
I also have a problem with chain pizza restaurants, like most of the main players in the chain pizza restaurants that charge a delivery fee for delivery yet that fee is not going to the drivers at all. Pizza Hut, like many of the other major players seems to be doing away with their eat-in restaurants meaning you either have to carry it out or get it delivered so if that's going to be your main business you shouldn't be charging people extra for it making customers think the extra fee goes to the drivers because it doesn't.
If you're going to charge a fee for delivery then pass it along to your drivers and don't just add it to your bottom line. I do like Pizza Hut pizzas but there are other places, in our area that I do like better. I keep coming back to Pizza Hut because it's consistent, it's good, and when you crave Pizza Hut no other place will do. Of the large pizza chain restaurants I do believe Pizza Hut delivers are provides the best product overall in their coupon specials...
Read moreDelivery service almost always gets the order wrong, sometimes repeatedly. We were having a birthday party one time and ordered a pizza with no cheese for the birthday child. They delivered a pizza with cheese. They said they would make it right (meanwhile Everyone else has pizza except the birthday boy and we have to wait & wait). Finally they come back with yet another pizza with cheese. Really!? So we call again and the manager says that WE cannot tie up the delivery person anymore so they won't deliver a cheeseless pizza. Despite this and numerous other problems we've been customers for years because it's the only pizza place in our area. We've spent hundreds of dollars on pizza there but loyalty means diddly to these people. Now they won't deliver where we live, which is a little over 4 miles away. Last time I ordered for delivery because I was unable to leave my home. The order came to over $125 and when I wanted to pay over the phone they told me they no longer deliver at the last minute. I had to call and try to find someone to pick it up for me. I guess they're only delivering to the upscale subdivisions now like Turtle Point and Brookwood. From what I've read & heard those seem to be the only places they go. Oh, and the places that are close enough where the patrons could walk to get...
Read moreThese workers are amazing. Always friendly. Always try their best. I went in to pick up an order I placed online late one night and they had ran out of one of the things I ordered and before I even got there, they had taken care of the refund and apologizd. They also don't Hassel or try to guilt you into tipping for carryout like many places do. In fact another location we won't use anymore, not only hassels you for a tip, but every time we didn't tip for carryout, we got sick off of the food. We experimented literally at that other location for 3 years. Yet here, we've never gotten sick off of their food weather or not we tip for carry out ( we always tip good for delivery). I can't say enough wonderful things about this location. I literally drive way out of my way just for this location. When that other one is only 4 miles...
