Went through the drive through tonight. I arrived and completed my order at 5:43 pm by the clock in the car. I sat until 6:58 pm. I watched 3 cars in front and 1 behind me leave. I even called the store and was told they only have 6 people working, and I could drive off like the others by Amanda. I watched as repeated attempts to get the dark blue car in front of the trucks order correct and multiple trips inside then out. The truck in front of me begin to honk, after sitting there for another 7 minutes at the window, after the blue car left, like we were all invisible, before they pulled up and went inside to get their food. I watched and at this time the silver car behind me leave. After the red truck received their order people came up front to start filling orders for the lobby and continued taking drive through orders but not serving drive through customers. I would have left but before I could back up to leave the vehicles behind me would pull up. Once the truck was served, but had not pulled up far enough with their trailer so I could pull out as suggested by Amanda, it was another 5 minutes after the truck was served, they came to the window and asked me if I had already been helped. When I pointed out the time I waited and I had called and told they are working as fast as they can, then told I didn't have to wait, I could have pulled out like others. Really? Amanda as the manager on duty let me explain how we help all customers within 10 minutes. Discuss who is doing what! Assign duties!! 2. One taking orders at the counter. That one makes drinks for their customers and completes the order to the customers at the counter. 3. One takes drive through orders, they make the drinks and fill the drive through orders. 4. One runs the fryers. They drop everything, pay attention...be quick...fill fries, chicken patties, tater tots, etc... bag them, so counter and drive through can quickly complete their orders. 5. One cooks, you the manager #6, doesn't have time to answer the phone...you are right there with the cook. You are keeping an eye out where others need you. Wow, that's 6 people. If it can work on the beach when I worked there it can work in a small town off a small interstate. Too bad the guy taking the trash out that I spoke to said there were several cooking and 4 up front, working the drive through whenhe looked in the back windowwhere the sunfaded burger king crowns are. I ordered a whopper with cheese. No cheese. I asked for no catsup. It had catsup. I asked for the 8 PC jalapeño bites. I was charged for 8 PC. I received 3pc. The food was cold, because it had probably been sitting there for a while in the bin. I was literally trying to give you another chance after last year receiving that hard as a rock bottom bun with a soft molded top bun. No more chances. You get this review instead. Read moreNormally I have a pretty decent experience at this particular Burger King. I don't eat fast food very often, but lately because I have been so busy I have gone up about once or twice a week for the last 3 weeks to Kingdom City to get food. I almost always get a #4 large and the past 4 or 5 times have asked for a cherry Icee instead of a soda simply because I was in the lobby one day and someone ordered one and it sound amazing. Since that day I have ordered a large and it has always come in the large plastic cup until today. Today they handed me a medium wax paper cup. When I tried to talk to the young man in the drive thru window he proceeded to roll his eyes at me, give me some answer that I could not fully hear because he kept turning his back to me and then finally closed the window before he even finished talking. So I waited patiently for him to come back and hand me my food and asked to exchange the medium Icee for a large soft drink where he then gave and able sigh, rolled his eyes again took the drink haphazardly, closed the window and proceeded to complain about me to any of the other employees within earshot. And then u a condescending voice said "here is your drink sir, have a wonderful evening and please let me know if there's anything else I can do for you" and as I pulled forward could hear everyone chuckling.
I was going to let it go, but thought I am just going to call up to the store and let a manager know what happened so they can deal with it as they see fit.... no answer.... no answer anytime I called and it doesn't look like a local number and the voice mail just says Burger king and then beeps.
I guess I'll be calling corporate next.
Decided to give them anothwr try after leaving a 2 star rating before.... this time was stuck at the drive thru for 21 minutes and didn't receive my food...
Read moreOrdered 2 breakfast sandwiches with 2 small coffees, coffee pots were empty, I took coffee pots to the lady at the counter and she said that she would make a fresh pot, after waiting about 15 minutes I went back to the counter to ask about the coffee and was told it's been ready for several minutes, keep in mind that there were only about four people inside the restaurant, I asked when they were going to bring a pot out for the customers inside which was self serve, she went to get the pot she had made while we were waiting and it was already half empty, I took the pot and poured 2 cups for the order that we had put in, at the same time our order of sandwiches which came with orders of small sides of tater tots was tossed onto the counter, the potatoes were all over the tray with hardly any inside the two small bags that they serve them in, I looked at the girl who put the tray on the counter and just shook my head, saying nothing to her, I took this trey back to my table and ate our meal while discussing the lousy service at this store, Before We left I told the girl at the counter that I wasn't very pleased with the service we got...
