This is the kind of souvenir and candy shop that used to dot the roadways of the U.S. back in the1960s and 1970s. Not too many of these establishments left across the country but Ozarkland retains much of the good character of the old style shops and also manages to remain tidy and fairly up to date.
There are lots of novelty items to browse—tons of trinkets, curious toys, folksy decor, fluffy things, plastic things, jams, jellies, relishes, and a selection of "homemade" candy displayed the old fashioned way, in a glass case and sold by the pound.
Clean bathrooms are a plus too, although you will have to trek to the second floor to use them. The restrooms are small so don't be surprised if you have to wait your turn.
This is a regular stop for my wife and I on our travels to visit family, it marks the halfway point for us and is a tradition we have practiced for many years. We always stock up with a modest assortment of chocolates to help pass the miles.

✅️ Great Place!
✅️ Great Location!
✅️ Great finds!
✅️ Even better taffy!!!

On my way home to see my wife and kids and didn't want to show up empty handed....spent approx $135 too much there. Don't...
