This is the kind of souvenir and candy shop that used to dot the roadways of the U.S. back in the1960s and 1970s. Not too many of these establishments left across the country but Ozarkland retains much of the good character of the old style shops and also manages to remain tidy and fairly up to date. There are lots of novelty items to browse—tons of trinkets, curious toys, folksy decor, fluffy things, plastic things, jams, jellies, relishes, and a selection of "homemade" candy displayed the old fashioned way, in a glass case and sold by the pound. Clean bathrooms are a plus too, although you will have to trek to the second floor to use them. The restrooms are small so don't be surprised if you have to wait your turn. This is a regular stop for my wife and I on our travels to visit family, it marks the halfway point for us and is a tradition we have practiced for many years. We always stock up with a modest assortment of chocolates to help pass the miles. Be sure to pick up your plastic tomahawk and war bonnet here, you are not going to find them just anywhere these days.

So this place has lots to look at like beautiful clocks, clothing, toys for the kids, souvenirs and candy but by far the worst thing about this place is the restrooms. It's ridiculous when you have only 2 restrooms and can't manage to keep them clean. According to my husband there was feces and piss on the floor in the men's and the women's restroom smelled dusty and just plain foul. Do not use these restrooms if possible. Just go to McDonald's next door. There's room for semis and travel homes parking. Also, I overheard an employee telling a customer they do not give refunds.

This place has EVERYTHING!!! Went with my family and there is something for everyone and then some. They have things from garden, home, apperal, toys and old candy you don't see anymore. The other customers were so nice you can tell that's the over all feel of the place. There is two floors so the place is really big. It's definitely a must stop especially if you need to stretch your legs like we did.

This place is a MUST STOP & CHECK OUT if your visiting or just passing threw!! However, if your anything like my husband & I, MAKE SURE to alot yourself at least 2 hours to look around, as they have 2 levels of nothing but unique gifts & fun finds...they also sell homemade fudge in a variety of flavors, alongside their famous homemade salt water taffy that you can hand pick by the lb. to purchase! The prices were pretty fair, as well.

Workers weren't the friendliness but that's just my personal opinion. I didn't pay them much mind as I was far too excited to look at each and every item their store had to offer, to let them ruin my experience...lol.

All-in-All:

✅️ Great Place!

✅️ Great Location!

✅️ Great finds!

✅️ Even better taffy!!!

Hope...

The items that they sell are very overpriced and quality is lacking. One item bought was a necklace for my daughter for Easter $19.99. The "chain" fell apart in her Easter basket. I was embarrassed in front of my family for it. As another example....at the counter when I was checking out I pointed out the gag item of rattle snake eggs in a small Manila envelope as being "all" bad. Two boxes of many envelopes showed signs of water damage, warping the envelopes. Inside the wire device was rusted and the rubber bands rotten. On my way home to see my wife and kids and didn't want to show up empty handed....spent approx $135 too much there. Don't...
