A food-truck style restaurant that they call a "chariot restaurant," which I love, and I had the best butter chicken ever. The rice was soft and fluffy, and the garlic naan.... Muah! The hottest (temperature-wise) meal I've ever had. I had to blow on it a bit before taking a bite.
And, super smart, they actually serve it in your to-go containers. Rice in a cardboard, fold container, and the main dish in a plastic bowl with a super tight-fitting lid.
Everyone was walking over from the close-by truck stop, so these containers make it convenient and mess-free.
They have a massive metal awning for covered seating, with good lighting and a few picnic tables for seating.
The food is made to order as you order it, so it's fresh and delicious. No heat lamps here!
Two people could easily share a meal the portions are so big! No. We didn't do that, LOL. So, I have breakfast! ❤
Seek out this gem and stay at the Days Inn hotel that is right next to it....
Read moreReally good food and great customer service. This is just a food truck so do not expect to be able to sit inside. I feel like they are catering to the 18 wheeler community. They did have 2 picnic tables though which worked great for my family. The Chicken Tikka Masala was incredibly rich and creamy. I cannot help but feel like they melted a stick of butter in it, but that is not a complaint. There was a great portion of chicken The lamb biryani was really good. They did not skimp on the raita.
The Vegetable Samosas were pretty good as well.
They did not ask about spice level and I really wish I would have asked them to make everything at least medium. Everything was very mild, but I am also a 35 year old white guy so they likely just assumed I cannot handle spice.
Overall, I am extremely happy with the food here and will look forward to stopping next time I drive through...
Read moreWhat a delightful surprise! After spotting their ad roadside yesterday, we couldn't resist trying out this Indian food truck. Our order included aloo parathas, gobi paratha, and paneer tikka masala, accompanied by homemade yogurt and pickles and a cup of chai. The flavors were simply divine, reminiscent of top-notch Indian restaurant quality. The staff was attentive and wonderfully personable. Watching the food being prepared fresh on the spot only added to the experience. When it comes to authenticity, trust the verdict of an Indian household; this food truck delivers the real deal amidst a sea of mediocrity. We're already planning multiple return visits, not just for the scrumptious food, but also for the exceptional hospitality. A perfect ten out of ten experience! This is a photo of the food we brought home after we had stuffed ourselves...
