Update: Still slow Even worse than previous review, which is below They decided to empty out a storage locker and then all stop and smoke (there are 2 people sitting there smoking, other one is hiding behind boxes) while customers are lined up around to the entrance of the property. They can't be bothered to turn on their mobile ordering so everyone has to sit in the slowest drive thru of all Dunkin locations. It is literally quicker to order in the app from colonial heights and drive there to get it. Plus they seem overwhelmed and bothered that are there. Despite the fact that there are 7 employees all together, I only noticed 3 actually working. Original review below: Sadly, they have went downhill in the past year. The store has become....gooey on the inside. Everything is greasy and dusty. The tops of the coffee bean grinders are disgusting. There are flies and gnats in the cups that they have on display. Also if you order food inside it takes 30 minutes to get it. They are too busy fulfilling drive thru orders to put you in order of when you actually ordered. We waited 35 minutes for a bagel with cream cheese and when I seemed annoyed about it the manager referred to me as the 'rude' guy. Needless to say our family will no longer come back.

my issue isnt with staffing as other may say. i believe in pure communication. that should ensure a proper order. however, i will never return to this location. i do not know if it is due to company changes, or purely management decision, but no more. tired of 2-4 times a month going to dunkin hoping for a change. donuts are much smaller than usual, especially if you compare to 2 years ago. dough seems more dense, dry, not as fresh like. idk if there was a change, or the donut is laying there longer not being sold. inside? filling? where? i bought 6 donuts, 2 different types. every donut was maybe half full. some had almost none! when pipping a donut dont you make sure enough is in there? from the pictures posted you can see a little bit of it at the top. is it a new piping tool? is the donut cut with a knife and told to put the bavarian cream in? not jus a dime full to reserve on filling, cost, and all else? this is what it seems like. donuts were almost all dough. if i want dough ill order pizza. as picture shown. this is almost half into a donut. every single one was such as this. 11 for 6 donuts! price is crazy for dough!

When I questioned my coconut refresher. I told her at other locations it had a a more "milky" color she simply said "that's weird" and shoved it out the window at me. She didn't even check with who made it to verify. I get a coconut refresher a couple times a week from other locations so have a pretty good idea about how they should look and taste. I also ordered the pesto and tomato grilled cheese without tomato because I would be eating it while going down the road heading back to Greeneville and the tomatoes make the sandwich a bit more messy and I just don't care for them anyways, but LOVE pesto on my grilled chees. I got down the road and opened it up to discover the tomatoes. I didn't go back since 1. I was 10 minutes down the road. 2. Had all 4 kids with me. And 3. I had already been told I was incorrect about my drink being wrong and did not want to deal with this employee again. Definitely will be avoiding this location next time I visit HMG.

I have frequented this establishment for 7 years now. In the last couple of years my experience has went from wonderful to extremely disappointing. A few years ago I could go through the drive-thru and begin my order and have whoever was taking my order finish the rest of it because I came through so often they knew what I ordered. Now it's to the point where I don't even know why I order because they just give me whatever they feel like giving me. My food order and half the time my drink order is never correct. I don't make things complicated. My orders are far from complex. Aside from all of that in recent months they have changed their hours of operation from open 24 hours a day to 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Also only drive through is open. I thought this was due to the pandemic. But as their signed states it is due to them being short staffed. Basically, almost 5 months they've had this modified schedule and still have not been able to accumulate enough staff to reopen their dining room and get back to being open 24 hours. None of that would bother me IF they actually stuck to the schedule. This morning was the 4th morning I have showed up between 6:15 a.m. and 6:45 a.m. just to find out that they are STILL NOT OPEN. They block the drive through speaker with a sign saying they open at 6am. In addition to all of that their staff is beyond unfriendly. It doesn't matter who is at the window distributing orders they always seem to be miserable and frustrated. The last time I was handed my food I replied with "thank you so much" and got a very quick almost annoyed, "yeah, have a good day." I understand that they stay busy but rushing me out of the drive-thru isn't the way to go about things. Lastly, as I mentioned before my order is usually always wrong and due to the dining room not being open and their drive-thru line usually always being 10 to 12 cars deep leaves me stuck paying for something I...

I love DD but the experience I just had was a joke. I went through drive thru now I know it can be hard to hear but not only did I recite my order twice the woman doubled back with it and it was all correct when she repeated it I pulled up. Now not only was my coffe made wrong, but I was also missing food when I kindly asked her if she could make me the coffe without creamer she scoffed at me shook her head while snatching the drink and walking off. I shook it off everyone has bad days, I proceeded to check my bag and I was missing a bagel I told another lady and I showed her my receipt they charged me for 3 bagels I ordered but I only had two. I told them and then I had my receipt taken yet again and was told I was wrong. Now I’d like to think I know how to read a receipt so I checked it and pointed it out. She snatched it out of my hand to show her manager I was then told they would have to charge for my third bagel? At this point I’m annoyed but I pay anyway. The kicker of this is the same girl comes to the window and tells me with a gross attitude she wants me to move up. Well not only have I already been waiting for close to 8 minutes for a bagel that I was charged extra for so I stayed. I was then told excuses as to why this all happened. No it’s about having a decent attitude when dealing with customers. I have visited this establishment on many occasions as it is the closest place to get coffee and/or a breakfast sandwich on work days. I have never once gotten my order without having to "pull up to the white line" which is already aggravating enough. I'm not requesting anything ridiculous, the most complicated order I've placed is a medium vanilla latte. I mean, how hard is it to make a normal old breakfast sandwich or pour a cup of coffee? This is every time...even when there is no car behind me. This morning, however, has officially been my last Dunkin Donuts experience as I will gladly drive the 5 extra minutes to go...anywhere else. I ordered two coffees and an egg and cheese sandwich. As I waited for my egg croissant, of course waiting at the white line, the man explains "I went ahead and made that sandwich for you this time but my manager said I'm not allowed to do that anymore" referring to the fact he maybe had to remove a piece of sausage from their premade sandwiches? My apologies, I am sorry that has required you to go an extra step in your sandwich making, clearly causing a lot of frustration. Next time I can remove the sausage myself. Do not go to this establishment; just go to...any other place really. Dunkin' Donuts...where nothing is your way and every customer is a huge pain in...
