Based upon all of the previous reviews that I had heard we went in and tried this restaurant and I think it's one of the worst places I've ever eaten. I read reviews about their great pizzas but they use processed items on their pizzas and they're not high-end at all..... they don't have enough cheese there's no olive oil they're dried out and my son who loves good pizza wouldn't even eat his. The salad bar was okay and had the usuals but the dressings were horrible..... bottle dressings, nothing was homemade. The Bluecheese dressing had absolutely no flavor but then I wasn't surprised when I went ahead and tasted the pizzas which also had absolutely no flavor. Everything tasted bottled pre-made and nothing was fresh except the lettuce and the tomatoes and a couple of other items. I will say the pita bread was very good but there was nothing to eat with it because it turns out that while their pictures show it being served with hummus they're not having hummus on the Italian side so have to wait until the Greek side opens up before that's available. My concern is it will have all ultra processed food as well and so I'm very hesitant to try it. The ice cream / gelato was very good and they have a variety of flavors. All in all at this point I can guarantee you we will not be going back; we were in a restaurant that had an open salad bar and then a pizza bar and we were only there for 25 minutes before we got up and left because there was no reason to go back for seconds...
Read moreWas looking forward to eating here since it reopened but I should have know better. My husband and I went there for lunch on a Saturday and for the first half hour, we were the only ones there. We were told by the hostess that there was only one waitress working. The hostess by the way, was a very lovely girl who was very pregnant but was wearing a shirt that did not cover her belly. Not that I don't think a pregnant woman's body is beautiful but in the food service industry, decorum is key. Not everyone wants to see that much skin while they are eating. Was very disappointed when I found out all they only served pizza because the reason we stopped was we wanted to have subs. The salad bar was okay but missing mushrooms and blue cheese dressing, my favorites. There were only 4 pizzas served on the pizza bar and to be honest, I've had better frozen pizza. While the crust had a good flavor, the center was thin and indercooked. Johnny Bruscos they are not. For the price, it is definitely NOT worth it. We...
Read moreOMG!!! What a gem for Kingsport. Everything about my experience was A+++. David and Linda kept things smoothly running in the dining room, and the pizza chef kept the pies coming out and the massive salad bar full of fresh ingredients. I personally think the best bandlg for buck is the lunch buffet from 11-2. It includes unlimited soup, salad and pizza. I think there is usually 6-7 pizzas to choose from, with 1 being a rotating selection of the more exotic pizza. On this day it was a Philly steak pizza. The slices are small so that you don't fill up after 2 or 3. You can enjoy each pizza without getting full. Which leaves room for the salad bar. It can be a meal in itself, and I tried the minestrone soup and it was delicious. If you leave room, get Gelato at the end. It's not included in the buffet but the small is only $4 and it's honestly plenty. If you try it and like it, help spread the word. I want them...
