Subway — Restaurant in Kingsport

I give it a two and I will explain why they do not treat their employees fairly there was a sweet young lady who worked there a few weeks ago and on her third day they left her alone for the whole weekend open the close she kept her composer did a great job she had to line out the door got through the line quickly everything was great she did keep apologizing and I told her honey take your time you can only make one sandwich at a time nobody here is getting mad you can only do what you can do. I asked about her this past weekend and they said that she no longer works there me and a bunch of the co-workers come there everyday and she really brightened her day her makeup was amazing and we always talked about I wonder what it'll look like today because it made our day to see her smiling bright friendly face they have such a quick turnover there the owner is not doing something right! The young gentleman Jesse is absolutely amazing he is a very hard worker always friendly make sure we have what we need and we could brag about him on and on he's been there a while and we are glad we still have him we also want to brag on Christy great attitude absolutely amazing worker she's never still she's always doing prep for making sandwiches very friendly we're also glad she's still here. working here we don't have many options to eat and we love Subway we just wish they treated their employees better and we really miss the makeup girl as...

Sitting outside this supposedly “open” subway where there are no workers and a sign that says “be back shortly”. This sign has been up for 2.5 hours now. This subway is literally the only place open for food on nights in the hospital and it’s been closed 3/4 past nights with no explanation. I keep coming back between running between patient rooms hoping to get a sandwich, but no one has come back. Yesterday, they closed 3 hours early for no apparent reason. The day before, they were never even open from the time i got here to the time I left. On Sunday I stopped seeing patients and rushed to subway at 7:40 to grab food before they closed but too late. They closed early because, and I quote, the employee said he had “shit to do”. Well so do I but jobs aren’t optional things you can come to and leave from as you please. Charging people significantly more per item at the hospital is just predatory. On top of this, the owner has been having a little hissy fit because employees sit in the dining area to eat their lunches. Subway is never busy enough that subway customers will fill all the seats. The staff is fantastic but the owner is doing the most just to simultaneously do nothing at all. I feel like a change of management would be the cure all to any of the issues listed in these reviews.
