Ok so here’s the deal. It’s McDonald’s guys. Now, this particular McDonalds gets a lot of orders wrong. HOWEVER: the staff are great about fixing anything. Hector (the manager) is on top of stuff. The ladies in the morning and the kids at night are great. I’ve only ever had a complaint about one person and his rudeness. And so glad Kiari (hope I’m spelling it close to right) is back. Now, is having to go to McDonald’s several times a Week the best thing for you? No. But when you have a child with sensory disorder and can only tolerate about ten items without getting sick, you go where you can. Having said all that, yes I’m there a few times a week, even if just to get a drink for a buck, but I would say at least 80% of the staff there have taken the time to be friendly, fix anything, ask how I’m doing and genuinely want to know, and just make you smile instead of just being the next order in the drive thru. On that same note, as a customer, specifically one who worked fast food twenty years ago, when you’re handling the volume they do, stuff gets messed up. Don’t be a jerk about it though. Be a decent human. And yes, it happens when they’re slow but that’s usually because that one has come off a rush and the staff I’m guessing are recouping from the crazy people throwing nuggets that aren’t the right shape back and placating people who pulled through in the 2nd ordering screen instead of “taking turns”. But again, most impressive is the staff. All the staff. Managers are great. Always cool when a going through the drive through and one of the ladies (whom I adore...she rocks but protecting her yankee identity) knows exactly who I am since we both are from around The Region, everyone is great. Except one guy. I’m sure he knows that though lol. But to my fellow customers, chill the heck out. It’s burgers and fries, people. Not diamonds and gold. Take two seconds to check your doggone order. If it’s wrong, ask them politely to fix it, if you’re ordering food for 15 people, for goodness sakes go inside!!!! Your order will be wrong. What do you expect? You're essentially using the speedy checkout for 50 items. If they fix your order and are friendly, don’t give them one star. Just be decent humans. That will complete...
Read moreI would give it no stars if that was possible. Me and my family have been in the road all day. Needed to get out of the car and eat. The person who took our order was Mark. The rudest person I have ever delt with. He completely ignored me when I tried to order my food but took my families order. There was six of us, my son had a code for a discount and Mark swatted my son's phone away and dismissed him saying "you can take that" My daughter ordered a plain Mc double with extra cheese but when she got it it had all the normal things on it even though we heard them discuss what it was supposed to have on it. I didn't get a meal because I was completely ignored. The lobby was out of ketchup, out of napkins and out of sweet tea. I heard another lady ask for napkins and Mark must have given her attitude as well because I heard her say she wouldn't bother him again. This is not customer service. I've been a server for twenty years and thus isn't how you treat people. Just do your job. Not to mention there was one girl behind the counter that didn't have her hair pulled back all the way and frankly looked like she got scared. When we got up to walk out the door Mark waved at us with a smirk on his face. We just needed to stretch our legs and get a bite. Didn't need all...
Read moreBe careful of this snake pit and viper den. Stopped there on 21 September 2018 and got two fish filet sandwiches with extra tarter sauce. I was charged 30 cents for the extra tarter sauce. When I asked about the extra charge, they told me it was corporate policy, that when a customer asked for extra tarter sauce, the extra charge was programmed into the register. The next day, just to see what would happen, I went to the Lovell Rd, Knoxville Tennessee store, got the same fish filet sandwiches, one with extra tarter sauce, and the other with just normal tarter sauce. I was not charged extra. Bottom line, if going to the Kentucky Street, Kingstone Tennessee , store, be aware. If they don't mind screwing customers out of their money for extra tarter sauce, there is no telling how they may be screwing you in other ways. Be aware and use caution when going to this jip joint. I don't have to worry about them myself. They have screwed me for the last time. Screwing people any way they can. Nickle and dime wallet thief's.😤👹😈👎.............UPDATE. owner called me, told her what happened, she told me she would inform cashier's to tell you about the extra charge as you order the filets. That takes the sneakiness away from the problem. You choose if you want...
