Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Kingston

Sonic is just what it says, a drive-in. There is no indoor seating. You have 3 options. You can eat at a table on the covered patio, eat in your car or you can take it with you. Their menu includes breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can enjoy a good burger, a grilled chicken sandwich or a big ole' foot long cheese coney. Maybe you're just craving a snack like cheese sticks. Gotta' sweet tooth? Try a chocolate sundae. Are you just really thirsty? Sonic is very popular for their huge variety of drinks and shakes they offer. Their menu can satisfy the crankiest little ones to the grumpiest older ones. You just pull in, park, push the red button, place your order and if you're paying with a card you just put it in the slot on the menu board and wait!!! The waiters and waitresses may just bring you your food on roller skates!! When Sonic first came to Roane County they all wore skates. Now, some do and some don't. I've never seen any parking issues. Now, I'm not saying because they've never been overcrowded then the food must not be very good. I'm saying, I think they've done the research and know the parking slips needed to accommodate the area. I took my grandson to Sonic today around 4:00pm. He had the BLT, fries and a Hi-C. It was ready very quickly. The waitress was smiling and very friendly. I suddenly wanted a Strawberry Slushi. I ask her how much it would be. She said she'd get it and be right back. She was back very quickly with the drink. As my grandson opened his bag he realized he didn't have a straw. Our waitress happened to be at the car next to us. I called out to her and ask if she could grab us a straw and she did it immediately. Her service was great. I'm not positive but I believe they have restrooms in the back outside of the building. Folks, don't forget, if you get good service, show your appreciation and TIP....

We came to Kingston Tennessee for the 1st time to buy some furniture my wife found on Facebook Market. We saw this Sonic and immediately was like cheddar peppers and Cherry limeade. We parked the truck and trailer load of used furniture and came up and sat on the patio, a young lady name Lizzy or Elizabeth was our waitress or car hoo not sure the proper name. Well she was so kind and sweet with the best smile and we had worked so hard to laid furniture in the rain and she just made our day much better...I am so glad we was able to meet your lizzy or Elizabeth at your Sonic, you should be well pleased having a Employee like her on staff. We said hi to a few other Employees but this young lady out Shinned them all. Thank you lizzy and Sonic of Kingston for making our day better, also I loved your Footlong Cheese Coney. That was the best Hot dog and hot dog bun I have ever had. You all...

Love most of the carhops! Special shout out to Chris, I believe Amy? (Newer, my age (late 30's early 40's) petite with brown hair, and one of the managers, I think Jeremy, wears hair in a ponytail (sorry if I have any of your names wrong)....they genuinely always seem happy to have you as a customer and I wish more people were as friendly and great at their jobs. I've only ever had a couple bad experiences and they were due to one manager it seemed like and one gentleman who seems to always be inside in the kitchen or taking orders. The food isn't why I go back almost every day for drinks or once a week for something else, it's the great attitudes of the staff as a whole, and their eagerness to fix any issue, whether the food might be messed up (doesn't happen often) or the app is being stupid (DOES happen often 😂) Kudos to all of them at the...
