We were on our way to Boston from Florida and googled a good breakfast spot near us…as we were leaving Plymouth. What a gem and surprise we found at the Blueberry Muffin! Not only was the place hopping but it was ran like a well oiled machine along with friendly service! We were sat at the bar and had exceptional service from our waitress Tiffany who greeted us with a smile and lots of coffee fill ups!. A young man behind the counter was quietly wiping down counter tops, taking phone calls, orders and for his age he was totally in tune with what was going on… he’s a leader I can tell… the breakfast was fantastic! I ordered the Southern Comfort Breakfast and my husband the Lumber Jack Breakfast, we shared! Everything was delicious, the fried eggs were the best I’ve had.. they’re frying them in something good… sausage was tasty and the rye toast was yummy too. Just go.. don’t think, just do it! You’ll be glad and satisfied not only with a good meal but with friendly people, hardworking souls who clearly take pride in this special cafe!! Don’t let the line waiting to be seated scare you…. it moves quickly! We may have waited 10 min!! PS… we ordered an assortment of their in house baked muffins for our trip! They’re huge and you can get 1/2 dozen...
Read morewe have been eating here for years. seems like the last few times the food has gone down in quality. when you pay $40 for breakfast for 2 people (just entrees and coffee) you expect much better. the home fries are really never very good. the last few times they were held over, very tough and not good. last week they were totally undercooked so you could not eat them. how can you not make good home fries when they are served with almost every dish. the sausage, gravy and biscuits never has much gravy on it. the biscuits are chewy, super salty and not very good. extremely disappointing. the eggs benedict never has anywhere near enough sauce on it. if you ask for a decent amount of sauce you are expected to pay extra for it so why bother you might as well just get a poached egg. the english muffins are very poor quality, super soft and cheap. the side of greens was full of rotten and yellow pieces. i asked for fresh ones and was still picking rotten pieces out. it used to be good here now it is just overpriced and...
Read moreI ordered a grapefruit juice, corned beef hash, and the avocado corn street toast. I cannot say I was impressed with ANY of the items ordered. The grapefruit juice was a grapefruit drink (It was not fresh juice! I had to send it back it was that bad. It should not be labeled on the menu as fresh juice.) The corned beef hash did not have any potatoes in it. It should have been called just corned beef on the menu. Had I known, I would have ordered a side of potatoes to go with it. The avocado corn toast had hard pieces of avocado in it, and it had a sweet dressing instead of a chipotle dressing or Mexican salsa. I ordered the avocado toast with an arugula salad which was a mistake because the toast was already covered with arugula. On the way out, I ordered the blueberry coffee cake muffins to go. They were not the greatest muffins I have had. I will not be returning to this restaurant. I do not understand the 5 star reviews that I have read about this place. I do not believe in settling for...
