A Lovely Experience at Baskin-Robbins/Dunkin’ (If You Like Stale Cones and Indecisive Ice Cream)
Well, well, well. I stopped by this fine establishment because, gosh darn it, I deserve a little treat on my solo spring break. And let me tell you, it was certainly an experience.
First, let’s give credit where credit is due—the Dunkin’ side of things was surprisingly efficient. My donuts came out so fast I almost wondered if they had been sitting there waiting just for me. And bless their hearts, they even threw in a couple of extra. Was it an accident? A pity gift? A reward for simply existing? Who’s to say? Either way, I’ll take it.
The milk? Oh, the milk was so fresh. Just the way one would hope milk to be. A real triumph in dairy.
Now, onto the Baskin-Robbins portion of my visit. They did have a decent selection, I’ll give them that. The classics were there, alongside some trendy new flavors that I pretended to be excited about. I even got a sample, which was nice of them. But the ice cream itself? Hmm. Let’s just say I’m still trying to decide if I liked it. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good either. It was just… there. Existing. Like a middle-aged woman finding herself alone on a vacation she never actually wanted.
And then we get to the waffle cone incident. Oh, the waffle cone. I took one bite and immediately knew something was off. Stale. Old. Lifeless. Much like my last relationship. But don’t worry, I overheard the staff casually mentioning it was made yesterday. Yesterday. Imagine that! A full 24 hours old. Because heaven forbid I get the fresh luxury of a same-day cone.
So, in conclusion, if you’re craving some lightly questionable ice cream, shockingly fresh milk, and a side of stale disappointment, by all means, stop by. I’ll be here, contemplating my life choices and whether that ice cream was actually enjoyable or if I just forced myself to...
Read moreI usually don’t leave reviews but whoever they got working the Night Shift, clearly was not trained correctly or is lacking manners. We get to the window, & waited a few minutes for her to answer, mind you the place was empty, she starts taking our order with attitude. I ask her what flavors where available at the time, and she’s said “idk what you looking for”. I told her my order 3/4 times and she still was doing her own thing. She was talking with a low tone than got upset that we didn’t hear what she said and kept talking to us with a nasty attitude. I didn’t even want to spend my money there & just left. Look I know we all have bad days and customers can be annoying at times but you gotta atleast treat people with respect, ESPECIALLY if we never disrespected. Don’t even waste your time...
Read moreIt’s nice to see an ice cream place open 24 hours for people with a sweet tooth. We came here at 9:00 pm on a Wednesday night and there were 4 team members taking orders from the drive though for both Dunkin and Baskin Robbin.
They had a few flavors available (see video): chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, Oreo cookies and cream, chocolate chip, mint chocolate chip, Oreo and Cold Brew, butter pecan, Nutty Coconut, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, Pralines and Cream, Rocky Road, Icing on the Cake, World Class Chocolate, Wild and Reckless Spirit and Cotton Candy.
The freezer case held ice cream pints and ice cream birthday cakes. This Baskin Robbins share space with a Dunkin so you could get coffee and doughnuts with...
