When this location first opened, the food was fresh, staff was friendly, and orders were taken and filled fast during the first week. It seemed as if BK corporate may have been involved in opening the location because there were a lot of people behind the counter during that first week dressed in manager outfits that said hello the moment you opened the door. Fast forward about 2 years and it's a completely different story now. The wait times for the drive-through are so long that I won't use them. I tried using it a couple of different times when there were only 2 or 3 cars ahead and it was at least a 10-15 minute wait each time. And again, it wasn't a long wait because of a long line. It was because the service was so slow. There is a lack of staff (and a definite lack of quality staff) that becomes very apparent as soon as you walk in the building. I walked into the lobby yesterday around 3:30 pm and there was one person waiting in line. I got in line behind him and there was no one tending the register. The only person in the front area had his back turned to the counter so he was facing the kitchen while engaging in chit-chat with the person in the back area. He must have heard the door close behind us as we entered because it's loud. Yet, he never turned around or acknowledged that there were people in line and waiting to place orders. He just continued with his personal conversation. After about 2-3 minutes of being ignored, we walked out without a word. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time that it's happened to me, and I only visit once in a "blue moon". I'm not the type to typically complain about bad service because it very rarely changes anything. When service gets really bad at a location, it's usually trickling down from the top. Instead, I just don't go back and spend my money at that business. I've been several times in the past, and it's the same experience every single time, and I can tell from the other reviews that this location is earning a bad reputation for its poor service. Unless the owner/general manager decides to be more selective in who they hire and invest in some quality customer service training for the employees, it's not going to get any better. I prefer the burgers at BK more than McD's and Wendy's, but I can't justify supporting businesses that don't care about the customers...
Read moreI Stopped at this Davenport, Fl burger king with my kids on 6/17/23… ordered food in drive thru at exactly 6:30pm. Sat in drive thru, 30 minutes as the 4th car in line and saw the front car had been talking to a manger for about 10 minutes while sitting there. We Finally Reached the window and waited for around 10 minutes when the brown woman with long braids carried 4 bags of food to the window and sat them by the register, she asked my name, took my credit card payment at 7:12pm, but none of the food in the 4 bags was my food. She walked away and didn’t come back to the window for around 6 minutes then she Walked out the side door and took the credit card payment of the car behind me and also didn’t give that car any food. By this time I was sitting in the drive-thru line 1 hour and received zero communication and zero food. The car behind me was beeping their horn because we had been waiting so long.. then the car behind me started yelling (not at me) but at the workers at the window asking for her food she paid for because they took her money and walked away just like with me. Finally the worker with braids walked out the side door to give the car behind me their food, I told her I wanted a refund but she didn’t acknowledge me. About 5 minutes later a larger white man by the name of John came to the window saying he was the manager and gave me a cash refund. I asked if we still get food and he said no. I asked what was the issue and he said he sent 2 of his workers on 30 minute break and he had no help. I told him that has to be untrue because I was in line for an hour so they had to be back by now. He then said they were slammed in the lobby dining area. I looked through the window and told him there was no one in the lobby inside, lie # 2. Then he said well okay the truth is no one told us you needed chicken nuggets so your food hasn’t been cooked. And I told him I had ordered an hour ago and the 4 cars in front of me and the car behind me all had been in line over an hour so that was lie #3. This is the absolute worst fast-food experience I have ever had in my 43 years. Over 1 hour wasted and I still didn’t get any food! This place should be shut down. Read moreI had the worst experience. I ordered my meal in the drive through. First off I ordered fresh drop fries without salt and impossible sandwich. It was obvious when I recieved my meal that it wasn't as I created. The fries was cold. I request new fries. However, much to my dismay occurred when I got home to take a bite out my sandwich and it was rare. As I took it apart I observed there was blood on my bun and everything. I immediately contacted the store and recieved no apologies but yet an excuse from management that they were busy. He (Franklin-manager) explained that since I had no receipt that I couldn't get a refund, although I explained that I was just there 5 minutes prior and he could inquire with the cashier. Franklin stated that he couldn't basically. I asked to speak with someone else and was instructed to contact the D.M in the morning. As instructed I did. Again, no apology was offered. The DM spoke with me through another worker instead of retrieving the call. I went to the store very adamant abut getting a refund and no food replacement. The DM Clinton assisted me. I informed him at the time how poor my Customer Service experience was from the time of the problem and even to the point of speak with him. I explained not once have any offered an apology for my experience and the time I had to take to resolve it. He then embarrassing said that's not the Service that they deem appropriate and offered an ice cream cone. I was appalled that even after given that moment he failed yo recognize the error and figured a cone would suffice. I unapologetically denied the offer.
