I deleted my previous review about what I liked about this place.
To the owner of this restaurant, Iris:
The food used to be pretty good when I first moved here but the quality has gone down. Itās been a few months since I last ordered from Linās Asian Bistro but the last time I did I asked if I could sub udon noodles in my pad Thai and I would happily pay the difference (they accommodated after arguing with me about it)
This time after 6 months since that incident, I called in to order the honey tofu (one of the things Iāve ordered a few times in the past, it was bland and soggy), and had asked if I could also order a side of udon noodles (they said no because they donāt offer it as a side). The cashier tried to coax me into paying $10 for their veggie udon with the sauce and vegetables instead, I asked if we could do just PLAIN udon side ill pay for the price of their plain lo mein ($7.95) and they said NO SORRY.
Iām not sure whatās the problem with these people & their udon noodles but their competition in the same plaza (Mayaki Sushi, I highly recommend them for their quality and service) offered a side of udon for $3! So I had to make two trips for something that couldāve been accommodated but instead the manager Amy says she canāt do it, āsorry.ā After I told her Mayaki offers it for $4 less than what I offered to pay her for a side, she said she āunderstandsā and is āsorry.ā
Guess it will be another 6 months before I give you a try again, hopefully with better food & service⦠meanwhile Iāll go to the better competition next door...
Read moreFinally some great Chinese food. I heard se great things and read some great reviews so I was excited to check this place out . As soon as you walk in you are greeted by pleaseant employees and immediately smell the great smells of all the Amazing dishes that have been served. I looked at all the dishes on the tables and everything looked so good. I got the chicken potstickers as an appatizer and had the general tso's chicken dinner combination. I paid a dollar extra for white meat. The potstickers were full of meat. The dumpling was incredibly tasty. The sauce is delicious and a little spicy. So good. The portions were very nice. The dinner came with soup and fried rice. I got the wonton soup. It came with 3 wontons very nice portion. The broth was incredibley flavorful not like some places that taste very bland. The wontons were full of meat and very delicious. The general tso's chicken was crispy and delicious. The sauce was sticky and sweet and a little spicy. Just the right kick. So good. My waitress Juliana was so friendly and nice. She took time to explain the menu items. She made some great suggestions for next time, oh yes there will be a next time. She even showed me their amazing robot waiter. Yes you heard me right. They have a robot that brings out food and drinks, cleans tables , and even sings happy birthday to guests on their birthday . This thing is so cool it would be worth it oming back for that alone. But the food and service get 20 stars ⨠My new place. Great job guys keep doing what you are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI would give this negative stars if it was an option. Sunday July 10, around 3.30pm I decided to go to this restaurant as I had been wanting some decent Asian food. Let me start by saying that I eat out at least 3 times a week at sit-down restaurants, so I am quite familiar with busy times, short staff, etc. I have eaten at this particular restaurant several times...the service was always iffy at best, but the food was very good. This time I arrived and was actually seated immediately...unusual for this place. And then I waited. And waited. There were 4 other tables in use, and one was a very large party so I assumed staff was busy. 5 minutes after I was seated another single table was seated. And I still had not spoken to a server at all. After another 5 or 10 minutes a server went over and started taking the order from the person who arrived AFTER I did. I got up and went to the counter to ask what the deal was and was told my table was for another server who was busy with the large group that already had their food. When I asked for a manager, I was told by a staff that the manager didn't speak English and then they walked away. Instead of offering to assist, I was told 'sorry' and that was it. Sad part is another table next to me said they waited almost 20 minutes to get any service. This restaurant does not know how to treat dine-in customers and maybe should limit themselves to takeout so as not to ruin people's dinner plans like...
