Unfortunately I’m far from impressed after waiting several years with inconsistent hours and menus that aren’t available online to try the food that was bland and the calamari was soggy and clearly a frozen product that’s wasn’t hand breaded. Their was no difference in size from the half and whole. I placed a simple takeout order for my family. Was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. I showed up after 30 minutes and it wasn’t ready for 40minutes. What was worse was I was handed a take out bag that was covered in crumbs and leftover food and didn’t realize it until I set it in my vehicle and got this stuff all over my vehicle. I never said anything about the wait as it was my first order and I was gonna let it go. But I got a call 30 minutes after I was there telling me I wasn’t ever welcomed back because I complained about a dirty takeout bag that made a mess I’m my vehicle and he said he hauls manure in his and so what. When I talked to Angelo all he could say was he had cliff forest -local hero I guess...in his restaurant and they are the best in town. Well this attitude won’t carry you far. I don’t recommend. The Allegheny Mariner, Lenape heights and the inn are great local...

Service was great. We were from out of town and the chef/owner took the time to stop by our table and talk to us about our experience.
Made dinner reservations on Friday for Saturday night at 7:30. The place was packed and we were seated on time which was very nice. This is an eatery (casual dining) and not a restaurant. If you are looking for a quite candle lit romantic dinner this isn't the place. It's loud, it's friendly and it's very casual.
The Food: Fried Calamari - lightly battered and fried perfectly.
Saku Tuna Carpaccio - High quality tuna
Rigatoni Ragu - Pasta cooked perfectly. Sauce was great and the mascarpone cheese was a nice touch. Portion was plenty for dinner and lunch the next day.
Veal Vespucci - Veal was great with a light breading. The mushroom brandy cream sauce was rich and flavorful.
Wine prices are very reasonable as well.
Overall a great family owned eatery that is...
Read moreYou order your food at the counter, waitress brought out meal, which was a piece of soaghetti baked, with sauce. We had to go get our drinks at counter, dessert was sat on counter which we had to pick Up! Was not crazy about other people looking over my desert, which I didn't even realize it was ours until we took a closer look. Dessert was one cinnamon roll and a tart. When we paid her bill she asked if we wanted to add the tip on, we did not do it that time, glad we didn't, I like to pay according to the service by the waitress. She brought our meal and that was it. We did tip her though. Our bill was $27. The spaghetti was about a fourth of a foil pie pan with about 5 tablespoons of sauce, that was $9 each. When you order from their menu it does not have the price on it. The menu changes every week, but it would be nice to see the price on the menu. Very nice...
