Jack & Diane's Sports Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Knox

While my hubby and I were coming home from being on vacation, I was passing through the town of Knox. I saw that there was a bar called Jack and Diane and I thought it would be a good place to stop and grab a bite to eat and have a cocktail due to the fact that it was named after a song,I presume. The moment I walked thru the door, I felt an awkwardness. Maybe it was due to the fact that I was an out of Towner, I just brushed it off. We sat down at the bar and the bartender asked us what we wanted to drink. My hubby got a cocktail and I got a sprite. The moment I said what I wanted, she have me a disgusted look like,"why are you not drinking?" I then again, brushed it off. We ordered our food. I ordered the gyro and he got a patty melt. When it came out, both plates looked unappetizing. My flatbread was almost burnt to the point where I couldn't even bend it without breaking it and the meat was as hard and chewy as leather. No tomato either. My hubby meal was just as bad, no onion and on the wrong bread and the cheese wasn't even melted. You would think on a patty melt, the cheese would be melted. This will probably get taken down right away but.. if your a door dasher decline all dashes from here. Long wait times and the owner was screaming in the back calling me a liar and was extremely rude. I had 2 orders to pick up at once for 1 route and she demanded i take the first one 13 miles away and come back for the 2nd one which was also 13 miles away. She was super unprofessional and had no right to treat someone this way. Door dash does multiple orders on 1 route because its efficient and ensures peoppe get fresh food in a reasonable time frame. Her demamding me to take 1 order then come back for the other one would of resulted in someone getting really cold food and long wait time. Its a shame that she treats delivery drivers that bring her business money in such a degrading way. All this in front of her 2 customers. I don't leave reviews very often but I had to when it came to this place.... When you walk in everyone not just the staff are extremely nice and welcoming.... The wait for my to go order was fast and correct which from most other places something is incorrect or missing.... When I got home everyone devoured the fried bread sticks because OMG they are mind blowing amazing and both the marinara and cheese sauce were so yummy.... My salad was delicious and the portion was big (I do wish they gave 2 dressing cups with it) and my boyfriend absolutely loved his Italian beef dip sandwich....
