Downtown Depot — Restaurant in Knox

Looking for a great, delicious, tasty, delectable, palate pleasing breakfast and or the other 2 designated meals during the day? Look no further. Obviously, the local folk know about the Depot and keep it from visitors like me and my wife. Not cool! Well, to bad; we found out about the Downtown Depot eatery. Breakfast is serious business to me and my wife. We wake up late and require a good breakfast the way we want it. Also, a cup of coffee and coke. Downtown Depot has the coffee but not the coke. Oh well, can have it all. However, the food is great. We had the Santa Fe skillet. A tasty dish with plenty of food enough for both of us. The restaurant did not look bad in itself. Very much a mom and pop kind of place. Only one waitress on duty and she was sick as a dog. Sniffling and wiping her nose with her hand. It was so gross. I did not want to eat the food. She kept sniffling in my ear. I ordered a burger and onion rings. The onion rings were really small but tastey. The burger was huge and not well seasoned. I only at a portion of the burger. I was throughly grossed and will not ever eat there again. My stomach flips and I dry heave just thinking...

Wonderful Railroad themed Restaurant off the main drag ( Hwy 35) in wonderful Knox, Indiana. Reminds me of the "Small family style" eatery from the 60's, 70's...but don't let that fool you!
