Flour Head Bakery — Restaurant in Knoxville

I've lived in Knoxville for almost 4 years and had no idea that Flour Head Bakery also makes cakes! I knew they made breads for Tomato Head, but I was surprised when my sister-in-law contacted Dennis to create her vegan wedding cake. She was able to communicate exactly what she wanted via e-mail and I got to taste a sample of the cakes and pick them up for her big day. Their store is not a traditional bakery with a glass display case, but Dennis was ready with our cakes right away. I found Dennis to be very professional and friendly, and he thought to include an offset spatula and extra icing with our cakes, which was a thoughtful touch and a big help. All of the wedding guests were so impressed with the quality and taste of the cakes and kept asking me if they were really vegan! You won’t find a better cake for the price! Also Kelsey was a pleasure to work with. We got a chocolate peppermint cake to serve as desert at our rehearsal dinner and then we also got a three tiered blackberry lemon cake for the wedding. Both cakes were vegan and tasted amazing!
