I’m giving it a 5 star review because there was nothing wrong. But for the record, it’s not my favorite chicken strip shop. There are better places. I don’t get all the hype, but I think it’s more effective marketing and psychology than anything. Anyone who has Snoop Dog that will promote the brand will automatically get a Pavlov’s dog reaction at the mention of the name. However, because my kids love this brand so much, we eat there. And because it’s all really basic to me, I try to make it better. And with that, I present to you my rendition of a secret menu item I would call ā€œThe Bird Dogā€. A chicken sandwich with cole slaw instead of a lettuce leaf. If only @raisingcanes would take note and create secret menu items like other cool restaurant brands to further expand their ultra cool factor amount the younger generations. Because everyone knows it isn’t so much the product as it is the marketing of the mystique. That’s a free idea for you Cane’s. My request if you use it, free chicken once a month for my kids. You are welcome.

Never been disappointed with Raising Cane’s. Our first time was in Nashville. Didn’t realize there was one in Knoxville until recently. We were very excited about that. Since we were going to be passing through Knoxville from Chattanooga, we knew where we wanted to have lunch. The chicken came out piping hot. My daughter said it was ā€œnuclearā€. Fries were hot and crispy. And the cane’s sauce is always good with the chicken and the fries. It’s a little pricey, but worth it; especially if it’s something you don’t get to have all the time. It’s a special treat because we don’t have one closer to home. I have no doubt we will go back again. The only issue we had was with parking. Besides the fact that it was peak lunchtime, I just don’t think there was enough parking space. A lot of us were parking at the BBQ place next door and walking down to Raising Cane’s.

I have been to this location a few times since they opened and I have to say today was pretty subpar. For a $17 meal from a fast food place I would expect a lot more. The chicken tenders were so soft & the breading was literally falling off of them. For a moment it had me questioning if they were even fully cooked. The fries were barely cooked as well. The Texas toast and canes sauce were the best part of the meal…..I have been to Cane’s locations in Texas and Louisiana as well and this is by far my least favorite. For how long we waited in the drive through I was expecting more. The past two times I have been since they opened were a lot better. It seems like they are on the decline now that they have been opened a few months. Definitely not worth the $17.

I am an avid consumer of Canes. It is one of my favorite fast food places but this newly opened store’s vibes are completely off; first off the construction of the building does not lend itself to a comfortable dine in experience. The dining area is nearly half the size of other Canes restaurants, which makes it awkward to find a place to wait to pick up your order. Secondly, the design of the interior is so harsh. Tables with stools or chairs… little to no real booths, which does not feel welcoming to patrons who may want to sit a spell with family or friends while they eat. Thirdly, the music. I understand that not everyone has the same taste in music and the other Canes I have been to have a very eclectic selection playing over their sound system to go with the eclectic decoration on their walls. But this particular one seems to be catering exclusively to pop country fans (I.e. Morgan Wallen) The time I spent there was a sonic assault of affluent frat boys with acoustic guitars over hip hop beats cosplaying as working class country folk. Mainly because the majority of the patrons at this specific location did seem like that demographic.

Food was great, service was exceptional. The workers are the lifeblood of Canes. However, the atmosphere made me feel like I was gonna be...

Disappointing Experience Due to Poor Service and Crowded Conditions

I recently visited this new location and, unfortunately, my experience was far from pleasant. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the location is too small to handle the high demand. The dining area was cramped, and the drive-thru line was absolutely insane, cars were wrapped around the building, causing major congestion.

Inside, the workers seemed to be in a constant rush, and it showed in the quality of the food. My fries were undercooked, practically raw in the middle, which was really disappointing. It’s clear they were trying to push orders out too quickly without ensuring food was properly prepared.

Another major issue was the restroom situation. With only two restrooms available, there was a long wait time just to use the facilities. On top of that, one restroom didn’t have any soap, which raises concerns about hygiene. If customers don’t have soap, how do I know employees are properly washing their hands before handling food?

Overall, this restaurant needs serious improvements in both service and facility management. The small space, long wait times, and lack of attention to detail made for a frustrating visit. I wouldn’t recommend dining in unless you’re prepared for a...

Most of these negative reviews are right!! 2-22-25 12:25am We went to the downtown location and it was too busy so we came to the new location excited to get canes ( we eat canes in every state) my girlfriend told me to check reviews on the way and we took them with a grain of salt. Including the MULTIPLE complaints of hair in food. We got there and the lady over the drive through was speaking as if she was drunk other than that staff were severely young and goofing around even though they have a window for the drive through to see the kitchen. when we get our food home we start eating, fries were soggy but oh well, the main issue was the long black hair sticking out my girlfriends fries and then she found ANOTHER in her sauce. Causing her to not want the rest of her 20$ meal we just purchased. I understand mistakes but as this place has barely been open a month and theres this many complaints of non professional staff and hair in food. Do restaurants not have their employees wear hairnets anymore? Once again i understand its a new building and staff may not be familiar/ up to speed with this new location but theres still basic hygiene that needs to be followed. I suggest hair nets and serious talk to the cornballs running...
