This had to be one of the worst dining experiences I have had. The waitress took about 10 minutes to greet us and take our drink order. She was quick on bringing the drinks and bringing us rolls. We ordered apps when she took our drink order and those came out very quickly. She was quick on taking our order. However, She didn't write our order down at all. Which didn't initially concern me because I know some waitresses have great memories. I started getting concerned though while taking our order because she was getting mixed up. However the salads came out quickly and they were correct and this is not on her at all but it took a half an hour or longer to get our entrees. Also, my husband found rice inside of his "clean" fork. It had been wrapped with food still on it. (We didn't have rice) In that time though she didn't refill our drinks. She didn't bus our salad plates, and when our entrees came out I immediately noticed the 16 oz steak was not a 16 oz steak. It was an 8 oz steak. She came over during this process and apologized and said that she had rung in the wrong steak. She went to walk away to correct it but I asked her if she could please bus the table so that we had room because now it was quite full and get us refills. I also had to stop her because my daughter was supposed to get broccoli with her order and there was no broccoli. She asked if we wanted more rolls and we said yes which we never received. My oldest daughter had asked for honey mustard for dipping sauce for her chicken crispers and she never got that. She had a steak and chicken combo and asked for onions on her steak which she also never received. Almost 25 minutes later the recook on the 16 oz came out. It was supposed to be cooked medium which it was, but 25 minutes for a medium cooked steak was ridiculous. It wasn't busy. Maybe a small pop. I still haven't received the broccoli for my youngest daughter. After the steak got brought out, I asked the server about the broccoli. She said it must be still sitting in the window, She couldn't believe we hadn't gotten it yet. So a few minutes after that we did get the broccoli. However we had to leave so we asked for boxes. This meal took an incredibly long amount of time. The manager, possibly the key, came over to see how things were, I explained all the issues with the missing broccoli, The missing onions, no honey mustard, how long it took us to get a new steak, That the steak was the wrong size in the first place. I also told her that she needed to speak to her server about writing down the orders which is why I think some of these problems happened. She didn't apologize, She just kind of nodded and said that she would take something off our check. At this point I did not believe we should have to pay for the steak because we waited an hour for one steak between the initial time and the recook time. She took $15 off our bill which in my mind is unacceptable for the type of service that we had. I explained to the server that I was not happy and expected that the steak be at least comped. I also asked her if there was another manager on because I did not believe she was the closing manager and would like to speak to the manager in charge. The server did say there was another manager there but that she was sure that this manager would take the steak off. She did do that , (the manager) but she never came back to the table, She never apologized for the service. My husband is a kitchen manager for a nearby restaurant, my daughter a cook, and myself a waitress. We know what good service looks like and this was not it. From the server to the manager it was a bad experience. The waitress was very nice and...
Read moreI rarely leave negative reviews, even when the situation warrants it. I try to consider that we are human, we all have bad days, we all deserve second chances. However, from START TO FINISH, this is a horribly ran establishment and there’s no other way to say it. To begin, the hostess did not possess any of the qualities one would expect. If you are the first face to be seen in a place of business, you should at MINIMUM be welcoming and respectful. You should be able to answer simple questions regarding wait times. Smile and know the wait time…reasonable expectations… poorly met. I was willing to overlook the multiple errors in wait time when 20 mins became 90. Fine, no biggie. We are then seated and wait a significant amount of time to place our drink orders and one appetizer. After a lengthy wait, we get them. Still, no big deal; we realize they’re busy. There are 5 people in our party, all of whom order a potato in some form. 2 order prime rib. 10-15 mins later, the server returns to inform us they are out of potatoes….of any kind. This seems like a failure considering 2 hours have now passed and NO one let us know this? That is, not until conveniently, we had ordered drinks and an app. Fine! We all choose different sides. 10-15 more mins pass when our sever returns to state they are also out of prime rib!! Over 2 hours total invested, and everyone has had to rethink their meals. At this point, we state we would like to leave. There’s no question that someone should know when staple food items are running low WAY before that time comes. And waiting until the customers have been seated and ordered to make this announcement is unacceptable. I assume the hope is that you’ll rework your order and still spend the money. After all, if they informed you before that time, you might leave and spend no money. We were then informed we would need to pay for the beverages and the appetizer, though we had barely touched them and they had dropped the ball in a major way. The manager comes to the table to argue this point. A manager should know well before supplies are gone. If they have failed to plan properly and allowed themselves to run out…you INFORM the customer long before this point. And you certainly do not proceed to debate whether or not they should pay for the drinks and app you trapped them into owing for. Your desperate attempt to lock in our pieced together orders, followed by your desperate attempt to collect the $20 worth of items on our table will ultimately cost you the business of 5 customers forever. Yet another testament to your poor...
Read moreDisappointing beyond belief tonight. TR has always been a go-to for our family. Tried to call for reservation, was told since it was a large party that the manager would have to do it and hung up on us. Figured it was an accident and went to the restaurant, got on the list and waited almost an hour ( big party, understandable, not an issue). Once they were ready for us, the hostess approached one of the children in the middle of our party and rudely barked to follow her. Getting to the tables, the pregnant mom in our group asked for a high chair and was told they were in the other side of the restaurant if she wanted to go get one. (She did, no one offered to help)Getting split between 2 tables is again understandable, but when parents for small children attempted to order for their kids at the next table, the waitress refused to take their order and said the other server would have to take the order. When the other server showed up and the family members tried to explain that the kids meals should be on the 1st tables ticket, he refused to take the order and said that server would have to get them ( never got the kids meals ordered).
On 3 separate occasions, the wrong food was brought out and slammed down on our table, after a couple of our members poked around and realized it wasn't what they ordered, they snatched the plates back and told us our table number was wrong, and TOOK THE SAME PLATES AND FOOD WE HAD BEEN TOUCHING STRAIGHT TO ANOTHER TABLE! This happened several times.
We never got refills, a member of our party went into the kitchen area and got a tea pitcher and no one even noticed a customer wandering through the kitchen. Throughout the meal no one ever asked a single time how the food was ( it was bad) or if it was right ( it wasn't). On the rare occasion we managed to flag someone down, they would say they would be back ( they wouldn't) whenever saw another server until they brought the checks.
Checks were wrong and although they couldn't mingle the orders between tables, they expected both tables to use the same pos machine ( which was broken)
Those are the high points of the meal too. Can't imagine what it's like when this location is...
