I've had to redact my original review as it was good the first two times I've eaten there, but every time since, the food has been too inconsistent. A chain restaurant like this should know above all that consistency in their food is key to success and they just are not offering that at the moment. Not sure if it's different workers doing their own thing and not following recipes, but something needs to change.

When I go to a restaurant that I thoroughly enjoy, I expect the same great flavor and texture; that is what brings me back through the door. I'd rate them overall at 2.5 stars for the food quality. Service has been decent and the atmosphere is quaint.

Food was very well seasoned. I'm seeing reviews complaining about the temperature of the served foods, but smoking foods ahead of time means they will be sitting in a cooler to retain heat/moisture to be served during the day(it takes 12+ hours for brisket alone), so of course the brisket won't be piping hot. I enjoyed the brisket I had, will be getting that again. The Mac and cheese sausage was amazing, I can see myself going back for this many times in the future (I wanted to try the jalapeno sausage but they were out, if it's anything like the Mac and cheese sausage, I can see why they ran out). THE OWNER OF THIS PLACE IS A THEIF! On July 1st 2024 I placed an online order and a portion of the order was out of stock and unable to be fulfilled. I wasn’t notified of this til I went into the store to pick up my order. I was told a refund would be issued to my credit card within five days. Today is July 17 and still no refund. I have been into the store multiple times to inquire about my refund and I’m told the owner has to approve and issue it. The employees at the counter can’t do it. I’ve asked for the owners phone number and they won’t give it to me so I left my number and asked for the owner to contact me and have not received a call. So before you order online, make sure you’re ok with potentially paying money for food that you may not receive and won’t get refunded for on top of it. First time visiting a Dickey's and it will be our last! Everyone received cold food, the brisket was horrible and not edible it was literally all fat, fries were cold and dried out tasted like they had been made hours before and sat out, Texas toast was not toasted it was literally a piece of thick bread, baked beans were actually warm but tasted like they came from a can, Mac and cheese was dried out.
