Their Birria tacos were so yummy!! I ate a carne asada taco as well (not pictured because I was hungry lol) ask for the xtra hot salsa because it is sooooo delicious! Service was top tier and she was super friendly! Atmosphere was also amazing as well. :)

We had a wonderful lunch at El Chicano today. The young lady taking our order was helpful and efficient. The food was served hot, and it was fabulous. A tasty Mexican meal was a great addition to our day!

We had a wonderful lunch at El Chicano today. The young lady taking our order was helpful and efficient. The food was served hot, and it was fabulous. A tasty Mexican meal was a great addition to our day!

Really looking forward to some Mexican food as a break from the seafood. Food was overpriced but fine the first visit. On the second visit, the #8 had a little "sour" taste so I told the waitress. Shouldn't have done that because every one of the waitresses and the manager came by one by one wanting to know what our complaint was. They disputed our "sour" taste claim and made us feel like all we wanted was a free meal. We did not and...

I've been working here in Kodiak a few weeks. Eaten at El Chicano at least six or seven times. Food is marignal, but ok. Service somewhat passable.

Tonight I wanted a cup if decafe coffee and desert after dinner. The server told me no, she can't. That if she makes a pot of coffee for one person she gets in trouble.

No problem, I'll be working in Kodiak a while longer but not...

The food is really good! There are no alcoholic beverages - at all, so don't expect it and you won't be disappointed. Your drinks are 12 oz cans. I would recommend this place for the food only! The staff is better at times and more friendly depending on who is working. Once I ate here I phoned in orders for pickup and the food...
