Indulgence Bakery is by far the best bakery in Indiana. We have ordered cakes/cupcakes from them 5 times over the last year and they amaze people every single time. The cupcakes are delicious. I would take them over the flying cupcake or any other location around us in Indy (yes we drive an hour to pick these up - worth it!!). Not only are the cupcakes moist, balanced and adorable - the service is phenomenal! We seriously can't say a single negative thing about Indulgence Bakery. They are doing our wedding cake for next Saturday - (2 tiers) and cupcakes - vanilla raspberry and chocolate raspberry(complete with a chocolate ganache that will even make a non-sweet eater "indulge")! Paid over $180 for a 12x12 cake and 50 simple cupcakes (nothing fancy on the cupcakes except sprinkles). The cake was going to be displayed at our grad party, but I kept it in the box instead as it looked extremely unprofessional. I was shocked at how disappointing it was compared to the cakes they have displayed on their Facebook page. The writing had visible errors, was crooked, and they spelled the school name wrong. There was a lot of empty space on the cake resulting in it not being visually appealing. I reached out 3 days prior to this review but haven’t received a response, though messenger shows they read the message the same day. Flavor was okay.. not as flavorful as I expected. Ordered a cake here for my mom’s birthday and when I went to make a payment on the cake, I was informed that I would have to provide the decorations for the cake myself. The lady at the counter also laughed as she told me I would need to purchase and bring in the decorations for the cake. Not once was I told over the phone I would have to provide the cake decorations myself AFTER they received a photo of the cake I wanted. I have never had a bakery ask me to provide my own cake decorations. Thankfully, I was able to get a cake ordered elsewhere with a week’s notice.
