Schottzy's — Restaurant in La Coste

We are huge coffee drinkers at my salon! Yesterday I told the girls we are trying and new spot and picked up at Schottzy’s to take in. First of all, the building is so cute! They have done an amazing job at creating a a cozy yet trendy yet small town feel ambience. Secondly, the staff is so incredibly nice! From what I could gather from chatter it is female owned and the morning I went was an all female staff and I’m all about the girl power vibe! Lastly, and most want to know the drinks were out of the world good! I ordered the Kendra and for once a coffee shop wasn’t afraid to load of the shots of espresso. I had an everything bagel with cream cheese. The everything bagels couldn’t be considered ‘everything’ because it had a scarce amount of seasoning and it was mostly sesame seeds. Additionally, the cream cheese inside the bagel was at room temperature and the bagel was not even toasted - cream cheese is supposed to be cold atop a bagel, I couldn’t even finish my bagel. I don’t want to get sick from a cream cheese that doesn’t seem up to temperature standards.

On the bright side, the cappuccino was good. :)

This is our favorite coffee shop! The owner is so sweet and the staff always make you feel welcome and like a special guest. They are also very kid friendly which is fantastic, they have fun puzzles and games which my kids love and has marked them as not only my favourite coffee shop but also my kids.
