This classic Wisconsin tavern is a must stop for rail fans. A two track main line of the BNSF runs in full view of the outdoor patio. I got to see 4 trains during my relatively brief visit. The bar and restrooms are very clean, friendly staff, and the frozen pizzas sounded delicious. This is the oldest bar in La Crosse, adjacent to a golf course and Grand Dad's Bluff, more than enough reason to stop by when you are in the area. I can't wait to come back again!

If you go up to The Alpine Inn (cuz you have to when you're visiting LaCrosse) make sure you stop here on the way back down...great tavern! Friendly staff and people...definitely will stop back on our next time in town

Always amazing! Great service; the bluffside family is exactly what we all want in a small town bar. Mandatory left!

Bachelorette party of 13 arrived around 11:15 on a Saturday night and were told we could only be served shots because the bartender was “just about to lock the door, it has been dead all night.” Their was at least 3 other people at the bar with partial drinks at the time. 4 more people came as we were leaving after buying nothing. Those 4 people also left without buying anything. NOT at all a real Wisconsin bar! If I could leave 0/5 stars...

Bartender was very rude, or just not a happy person. 🤷‍♀️She made the experience uncomfortable for myself and my friends/family.

Had 2 immediate family kids with during a family members party so to keep them occupied and out of the bar as much as possible, we let them use sidewalk chalk. We got in trouble for letting them use the CHALK...
