Had taken my 2011 vehicle to Best Buy for Apple Carplay deck, backup camera, steering wheel controls, and satellite radio install as I'm a Best Buy Total Tech member so that basically comes with free installation. My vehicle model had the factory installed premium audio package with built in amplifier, small subwoofer, and different speakers. Best Buy told me I would need a new amplifier. That seemed a little weird, but I purchased the new amplifier and went for the appointment anyway. A couple hours into the appointment Best Buy called to tell me the amplifier I purchased would blow the speakers, the factory installed amplifier would not get any sound with the new deck, and they would prefer to reschedule when another tech could be there so one could be on the phone and the other doing the work.

Best Buy person rescheduled and said they do not want to ruin anything so if at next appointment they are not comfortable moving forward may ask me to take it to a custom audio place.

I contacted Audio Mobile late one afternoon. Got me on schedule next day. They open at 930. Called by 1230 to say vehicle was done. Told me all they needed to do to get factory amp working with new deck was jump one wire. Everything works great and after paying Audio Mobile for installation and returning amplifier to Best Buy I "saved" $50. ...

First time going here, I had a good experience with them installing a touchscreen kenwood stereo in my car. I liked their business so I decided to go back to get a front and rear dashcam installed. When I went to pay, I got randomly charged for two things I didn’t get an explanation for: a “cigarette lighter adapter”, which looking around my car thoroughly, there wasn’t any kind of adapter other than the one I had in my car before the installation. They also didn’t tell me what the “misc parts” were. I’m grateful for the discount since I got my parts through them. My car is equipped with a factory rear sunshade, so I figured they would install the rear dashcam to avoid the sunshade, however when getting in my car and putting up the sunshade, it directly hit the camera, so I have stopped using the sunshade temporarily. I called them and asked how I’m supposed to use it, and they said they didn’t even notice it and either the dashcam I can’t anymore. It’s only been 4 days since the installation, and the wiring for the rear camera is already falling out. I tried to tuck it back in and found that my car’s headliner wasn’t even fully reattached to the roof, same with the front camera. Not happy with this place. I asked them to install my factory radio in the car and expected them to hook it up to my aftermarket amp/sub. I had it hooked up before so I know it is possible. I had a breakout harness that was all hooked up and only needed a few wires redone from the aftermarket radio.

Nope! This place just cut every single signal wire going to my amp. They could have just unplugged the connector and bypassed it, but nope, it was cut and then unplugged.

They left my amp connected to battery power and left a loose wire with constant +12v wire behind the radio as well.

When I went to pick up the car, they told me they had questions, but they never called or asked me any of them. I guess I'm lucky they didn't pull everything out of the car.

I waited two weeks before writing this review hoping that I would be less upset, but I'm still pretty upset at the lack of care and won't ever be...
