Church's Texas Chicken — Restaurant in La Feria

Service was good and fast, considering the line wrapped around the building practically into the street. However, I think they forgot to put spices on the chicken. I got an 8pc mixed with coleslaw, mashed potatoes, and 3 biscuits. I served the chicken to 2 other ppl and we all looked at each other after the first bite...ummm something is missing. The chicken itself was cooked just right and super juicy, but absolutely bland. The crispy fried skin is supposed to be the best part, but it tasted like plain fried batter with zero salt and spices. We tried adding salt, but most fell off and the parts that stuck were just salt taste with fried batter skin thing. Just moved to the area and this has to be the worst experience of any place I have been. The young man at the register just stared at me when I walked in, barely spoke, and the visible staff seemed more like prisoners than employees. There was a gentleman waiting for food when I arrived, and was still waiting after I had eaten and left. The chicken had no flavor, like it was just breaded in plain flour. After waiting about 10 minutes when they handed my order, the young man told me it would be another 10 minutes for a biscuit and said do you just want to take it without? No manager in site. I wish I could give negative stars after waiting for my order for 30 mins the manager gets mad because I got up and asked for my order after waiting 30 minutes for it he was very disrespectful yelling across the kitchen well we ran out what can I do. I replyed in that case you should have let me know instead of having me waste my 30 minute lunch. Looked like he was having a bad day but that still was no excuse to yell especially at a customer he needs to not clock in if he’s gonna have an additude problem I wouldn’t waste 1 penny in a restaurant that treats customers like that two asked for a refund and left.
