I usually like the McDonald’s here in town, mainly because when I have an issue, it gets resolved quickly. I am going to say this, I am a high functioning autistic, so sometimes I can say something and it sounds rude even when that’s not my intention. Tonight thought I had a very bad experience. The night manager was extremely rude from the very beginning. She copped an attitude with me as soon as she saw me. I was trying to order a caramel frappe but she told me they didn’t have it. Both the app and the board that lists everything on the menu said it was available. I did ask if the machine wasn’t working cause I know that it sometimes happens. After I asked, the manager said she refuses to serve me because I didn’t believe her and I was very rude. Mind you, the only things I’ve said to her was about the order and my question. I was confused as all get out. They were not busy and I was getting something for my manager who was graciously driving me home since I don’t have a license. This lady then asked someone else to help her and continued taking my order, all the while not looking at me. The other lady just stood there as the night manager was being extremely rude. The night manager then pointed to me, saying “this one’s personal for me” and I don’t even recognize this woman. She even told this other person that I rolled my eyes at her and I was being rude. I had also ordered a medium hot chocolate but I was given a small instead. My fries were soggy. I work in retail so I try to be as nice as possible since I know it can be hard sometimes. This was a very unpleasant experience for me. The service is 0/5 in this interaction, but because of how often I’m helped I’m giving the overall...

Read moreIs there a way to give ZERO STARS? Based on the interaction today, the worst reviews were too kind. How is this place even still in business in a small town? I travel throughout the United States and at the worst places, I have had better service and better food. Our food was wrong, even though we paid upcharges for changes. I asked for Mac Sauce, charged for it, and received no Mac Sauce. I ordered Fries. While I did get potatoes, they were cold and soggy...as if they were thawed but not cooked. I asked for a cup of ice, willing to pay for it and the cup had four cubes of ice. FOUR. When I offered them the opportunity to correct the issues, I was met with unapologetic rudeness. When I asked to speak to a manager, the window was closed in my face. When I called the restaurant, no answer. Don't get me wrong, I do not expect 5 star food or even 5 star service on a regular basis. However, it is my understanding that McDonald's was built on their ability to produce consistency across a massive market. IF this is the consistency customers receive, there is no doubt the business will fail. So again, how do they stay in business? Is there another source of income not on the menu? Clearly the food and customer service is not the reason for repeat visits. Maybe the corporate office should conduct a review of their contract or the health department should check in unannounced. I have trained in the customer service industry for years and this will definitely be in my toolbox of...
