This place is phenomenal! Stopped here on a whim after getting a haircut locally, and what a good decision that was! The place is clean and the service outstanding. Karina was such a great host, very attentive and nice. Since this was my first time, went for the Lomo Saltado. It didn't take long for the hot plate to come. The flavors were all on point, just as perfect as it could be. Very large portion but I finished it (mama would have been proud) They have 2 sauces tableside: a jalapeño-based aioli and a huacatay sauce. Both were incredibly flavorful, with the huacatay being spicier. I wanted to take the bottles with me, but that would have been rude (but I would have been totally justified). Long overdue for a review. I've been here countless times, and this establishment is beyond consistent with their food. Higo has no off days.
The chicken is very flavorful and does not dry out regardless of which piece you are eating. The Lomo Saltado is a wonderful dish consisting of simple ingredients that marinate in a beautiful sauce. Even the salad/dressing is really flavorful! The price is very reasonable for the quality of the food. The restaurant is very clean and has a modern interior.
To top it off, I have catered here before. They did a wonderful job with everything and the food still tasted amazing!

This place was recommended to me so decided to try it out! Came on a rainy day around 1:30. Once you walk in, they informed us to find a spot to get seated.
Tallarin verde con pollo a la brasa - it’s the green noodles! The chicken was juicy and the pasta had enough sauce which was nice.
Tallarin Saltado - we got it with beef. The beef was a bit dry and chewy. they give you a green sauce and it’s a must to add onto the dish. The flavor is way better with it combined! It is a bit spicy so keep that in mind. Highly recommend this dish!
