Mr.Albert Mexican Food — Restaurant in La Habra

It wasn't anything to write home about. I drove out of my way from my job based on a co-worker's word and experience, however, I'm starting to think that because of me being another nationality is why. I ordered what my co-worker called the carne asada fries and he did state that the portions would be large and that I'd get a lot of sour cream, guacamole, cheese, beans and pico de gallo without having to ask for it. That all those ingredients would be visible and piled in the container. However, that wasn't the case and I was starving and my mouth was watering based on the conversation he and I had at work prior to the drive. To give you a little background on what was said, he stated that it was one of the 2 places that had good authentic Mexican food and that they give large portions and it's worth the money. I asked him if he was sure, even though I'm slim I eat a lot and I've always been disappointed with portions from other places and that why I don't waste my money going out and make whatever I like to eat at home. We also talked about how stingy Mexican restaurants are with, pico de gallo, sour cream, guacamole and cheese without having to ask for it, like they didn't have it out that it was coming out of their paychecks. He assured me that would not be the case. I was so pumped. I was so disappointed and hangry (hungry/angry), because I did receive a lot of fries, cheese and salty carne asada, but where was the sour cream, pico de gallo, guacamole. It reminded me of that commercial of the elderly lady my saying where's the beef!!!! However, in my case it was, where's the sour cream, pico de gallo, guacamole, for $14 and some change!!!! Amazing food and amazing service from the crew. Prices are still relatively low compared to the increases at other food places but it is understandable that the prices have increased some over the last few years. Still a great deal, though. The Super Nachos are my go-to meal and this is literally the ONLY place I have ever been to where I run out of tortilla chips before meat and toppings.

My wife placed an order and then they told her it would be ten minutes then hung up without saying how much it would be. So my wife called back to ask how much it would be and another person told her that he didn't take the order so they doesn't know and hangs up. So them I called to see what the deal is and he he gave me attitude and so I canceled the order and he just hung up on me. If the owner allow this type of behavior I can only imagine what they tolerate...
